Why is gmail having trouble connecting to Google
I have been having the same problem for at least 1 year... Don't know of a solution--- sorry. Two friends also have the same symptem, my FireFox broser also takes for ever to open.. Only "fixes" I have seen , are to start with all of your "addons" disabled... Did not solve anything. Am still waiting to find a solution. Sorry...
Why do I get "Secure Connection Failed" Warning on major websites?
Sounds like a firewall or security software issue. Some where in your network port 443 is blocked. Try disabling the firewall. If that does it then you need to change the firewall settings. If that doesn't work check the local security running on your PC. If that isn't the cause then check the tcp/ip settings on your network adapter. Don't reinstall Windows until you've done some trouble shooting to eliminate network issues external to your PC being the cause. You may end up with the same problem.
How do I change my options
- Old Firefox or classic view: Go to Tools menu -> Settings (or Prefferences)
- Newer Firefox: Click on Firefox button -> Settings (or Prefferences)
Login my gmail [email protected]
Your question is very unclear. You need to tell what is wrong. (I cannot login through the login page in firefox.) or if you cannot remember your password or what it is that you are having trouble doing. Right now we have no clue what the problem is let alone the solution if there is one.
Yahoo error handler
Yahoo can replace whatever content they choose. Perhaps they have a problem with National Post. It would be best to go to the National Post News website to get the information directly. While I can understand that some news sites want to charge (which I support - to a degree) it is also true that for Yahoo to post information from other sources they might have to get permission first and as such cannot post the information you would like to read.
You might want to try Google News, or use an app like Flipbook (if you are on Android) to read such news.
Lastly, I would send feedback to Yahoo and they might be able to help you get the information you need. They are better at getting back to you than Google will ever be.
I keep getting the following message about a runaway script
runaway script can involve 2 pcs software. one is java. if you don't use java, you can delete it thru control panel. the 2nd item is adobe. adobe flash recently updated. you can download a program called p.s.i. from secunia.com. it will show you all of your out od date software. since you did not indicate your operating system, i'm guessing you using a current or recent version of windows. good luck.

What's the question?
To hide it, go to your View options, then Toolbars and remove the checkmark next to the Google Search bar. To remove it is either an add-on or in your Programs and Features.
How to zoom out
You can zoom out by pressing "Control -" on windows or "CMD -" on mac.
Hope that helps!
How do I restore Firefox to default settings?
- Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.
- Select SurfKeepIt , and then click Uninstall. Some programs include the option to change or repair the program in addition to uninstalling it, but many simply offer the option to uninstall. To change a program, click Change or Repair. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Organizing bookmarks
When you open the bookmarks tab at the top and scroll down to the lie that reads Show all Bookmarks you will get a popup window where you can create new bookmark folders and move bookmarks from one folder to another.
How can I re-install but keep current bookmarks
In all Browsers, you can select EXPORT, usually from the FILE pulldown menu. If you export your bookmarks to a place on your hard drive and then copy to a memory stick, you can then IMPORT them when you are done upgrading the OS. Or you can export directly to a USB attached memory stick. In any case, export before you do the upgrade and then bring up the new browser, and import the bookmarks.
