I take the emails were set up as POP3? If that is the case and the emails ONLY exist on the hard drive, what you need to do is access the hard drive itself. If the hard drive displays on your Drives and Storage window, then select the drive that is connected to the and click on the Program Files and open Thunderbird from the HDD in the docking station. I suspect the Composition Toolbar is hidden. When you write a message, do you see the Menu Bar (the line with File Edit View)? If you do, left click View >Toolbars > Composition Bar. A check mark will appear next to this option. Alternatively, right click on the menu bar and then left click on the line for the Composition Bar. If you do not see the menu bar, press Alt on your keyboard. Then the menu bar will appear. Type V T O to get the check mark on the composition bar. If you press Ctrl and Return together, you will send the email immediately without needing the Send button. Ctrl + Shift + Return will save the email to send later. Alt + F + d (File > Send Now) will also work. Alt + F + l store the email to send it later.These steps will work for Windows. They will guide you through them. Basically, you need your username and password along with the pop mail server and the smtp mail server. The pop server will be pop.centurylink,net. The smtp server is smtp.centurylink.net. The server required authentication, but not SSL
