Address Not Found
Firefox can't find the server at us.mc516.mail.yahoo.com.
The browser could not find the host server for the provided address.
* Did you make a mistake when typing the domain? (e.g. "ww.mozilla.org" instead of "www.mozilla.org")
* Are you certain this domain address exists? Its registration may have expired.
* Are you unable to browse other sites? Check your network connection and DNS server settings.
* Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.

I am running Firefox 3.0.4 with Windows XP. Recently, my cursor has started to go missing. It will completely disappear, and I'll only be able to locate it by typing something. I can't detect any pattern to when it happens.
I noticed the same problem while using Firefox on my friend's computer which runs Vista, so I'm pretty sure it isn't an issue with the OS.
Has anyone experienced this and knows of a solution?
Hi there Lauren,
I think I've got you covered on this one.
I'd like to offer up a two solutions.
One may be the solution to the disappearing cursor.
Failing that, the other addresses the symptoms, instead of the problem, sort of a sideways solution. Hopefully the result will be satisfactory.
If the first option doesn't fix the mystery, the second will show the location of the cursor when you press the Control Key. One or the other will make that cursor show itself.

it says 'forbidden your client is not allowed to access the requested object' every time i try to open youtube. what do i've 2 do
Hi there,
Please check if your browser using proxy settings, If so try to go to the normal mode.
the link for youtube is : http://www.youtube.com/
Still problems, try with another browser like Firefox Portable, I use it right now :
http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable
The good with this one is that you just have to delete the folder where it is and vupti the program is gone :0)
You may need additional Adobe flash player for firefox for see youtube movies, you can get it from here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:7
Hope that helps
IF NOT then try to return here and tell me which browser you use
Have a nice day

Error code: sec_error_ocsp_invalid_signing_cert
According to http://www.mozilla.org/projects/securit ... slerr.html it is
SEC_ERROR_OCSP_INVALID_SIGNING_CERT -8048 "Invalid OCSP signing certificate in OCSP response."
In Firefox go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Encryption -> Verification
[v] Do not use OCSP for certification validation
As this normally checked by default.

Anytime I play a video, it would load immediately and begin playing the audio with the video. Then, another audio track would play. It sounds as if two copies of the same video are being plays two or three seconds apart and at the same time.
Try updating your flash to the latest version, If it doesn't fix anything try loading a youtube video using google chrome as that has the flash built in.
If the problem persists even in Chrome, you can try is to check if your sound card drivers are up to date as the issue might be there.
Hop this helps.

i deleted the toolbar but the search engine wont go away
it depends on what browser you're using
i only know google chrome and internet explorer
this won't uninstall it, but it will make the browser get rid of it
for google chrome, go to settings. below On Startup, it must have been checked Open a specific page or set of pages. recheck Open New Tab page.
For internet explorer, what you got to do is in the top right, there should be a Tools. Click on it, then go all the way down to Internet Options. Then click on general(if you're not there) and under Browsing history, it has a button that says delete. Click that, then it will give you some kind of list of what you want to delete. Choose Temporary Internet files, cookies, and Download history.
If you have another browser then I have no idea because I don't have other browsers.
Hope this works! (If you have Google Chrome or Internet Explorer
