I ahve a no name mpe player and try to sart it and

Hi there

Flip the MP3 player's "Hold" switch to "Off" if the switch is on. Depending on the MP3 player you own, this switch is likely located at the side or top of the player. Once the switch is off, try to turn the player on.

Let the battery of the MP3 player die. A frozen MP3 player is technically still running, and thus the battery for that player is being drained. Wait until the battery is fully dead before moving to Step 3.

Charge the MP3 player using either a computer (that's turned on) or an electronic MP3 charger. Charging the player's battery may "jolt" the player out of its frozen state. Connect the player to the computer or charger via the player's USB cable. Charge the player for 30 minutes before attempting to turn it on.

Sync the player with the appropriate software program (for example, Windows Media Player) for the MP3 player. Connect the player to the computer as described in the previous step. Open the software program and click the "Sync" tab at the top or side of the program. If necessary, click "Start Sync" underneath the tab. The name of the player appears under the "Sync" tab if the player has synced successfully. Try turning the player on once it has synced with the program.

Press the small "Reset" button on the MP3 player. This hard reset shuts the player down completely. Use a pin, tack or thin nail to press down the very small "Reset" button on the side or back of the MP3 player to reset the player. Then, try to turn the player on.

How do I format a memory card for a JWIN mp3

Hello ==) ^^
  • Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from Amazon.com or Buy.com
  • 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
  • 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
  • 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
  • 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
  • 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

    Wanting to download music onto

You have to use any available on the net converter to mp3. I suggest Format Factory (here is the link for you to download it from the official site). It's a freeware program and it could be usefull when you need to convert video files too. In two words it convert all multimedia files to all multimedia files. Of course if you'd like you can use any else you want.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply.
If you are satisfied, accept my solution. Please consider leaving a 4-thumbs rating; I'd appreciate it greatly.

    Thanks and regards

How do you download music? i have been trying to

    > http://www.fixya.com/support/r4055689-download_mp3s_player <The best way is to use Cd's you already have or buy. Use windows Media Plyer It is the easiest way to learn. To use Media Player, Start the program and looking at the top of the program, if the classic menu's are not showing - right click out next to the heading, "Media Player", -> chose view -> then -> click on Classic Menus. This will show the menus that are easier to access. Now go to -> Tools -> Options And here, click on the Rip Music tab. This is where you set up media player to rip music down to a MP3 and where to put it when done. So on this tab you will see Rip music to this location, Click the pull down menu and pick a folder you can find easy -(go to My Computer, or the Start Menu Button, and right click and chose -> Explore -> you will see on the left side of the screen, the folder tree, click on the ( C: ) at the top and open up the tree, then right click the( C: ) move to the menu at the top and chose -> New -> then Folder - then name your folder " AAA " it will always be at the top of the tree - easy to find), Tell media player to put your MP3's here, then move down on the RIP MUSIC Tab to the FORMAT section and pull down menu2_bing.gif and chose MP3 => chose to rip when CD is inserted. click OK and close the Tools Menu, Close the Program. Now hook up your player, go to My computer right click on the START menu, look at the folder tree and scroll down to the bottom and see if your player is there, if you see your player all is well. If you do not see it do not worry we will fix that later. Next insert a CD into the drive and when a window pops up asking what to do chose to RIP WITH MEDIA PLAYER. Once Media Player has finished riping the CD, Go to your folder and Copy the MP3's into your player's Music folder - one at the time or as a group. Now you should be able to un-hook your player and enjoy your new music. Now if you want to download MP3's from Wal-mart or iTunes you need to change the mode of your player. See this tip posted here.Solve your MP3 Player Connection Problem. . if you do buy and download mp3's from some web site you will have to deal with the song's license. These license can get lost, If you ever have to reinstall or have a problem with your computer.Where CD's Ripped to mp3's2_bing.gif do not. Now To tag your files if Media Player does not do it for you. Some CD's Media player will tag for you, Some no. So How do you name your MP3's . Here's how. Again, go to My Computer or right click the START button chose Explore. Find the MP3 file you want to tag and right click it. At the bottom of the Context Menu chose Properties then click the summary tab, now you will see on the right side under Value, The Values you can change such as Artist name, Album Name, and do not forget, The Song Title under Discription.Push Apply and done. It will show up TAGGED in your player
