Compatibility of sansa with a Mac computer

Go to "Settings" on the Sansa (unplug it from your Mac if it is plugged in) and choose "USB Mode" and then choose "MSC".
This is basically a removable disk mode which should work outside of a Windows environment.

Where can i download songs from?

Here's the deal with acquiring songs - it's not as easy as it used to be. The free services are Limewire, Frostwire, and Morpheus. The problems with the free services are:
A) They are virus-prone.
B) Some ISP's will cut off your internet service for using them.

Whatever you do, only download songs in mp3 format - they are recognized by all mp3 players, you can keep them forever, and they will not give you problems down the line.

My reccomendation is to use paid services such as eMusic

The players starts playing and then says file error

If this is a USB MP3 player and you have unwanted songs on it, you might try plugging it into your computer and formatting it like a portable hard drive. This should reset everything back to a factory default and then the computer and the MP3 player should get along better. Good Luck

Canot dowload songs to my daughters mp3 player

theres 2 ways you can do this go into you windows media play 11 ( heres the adress if you dont already have it { http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/download/download.aspx }) then add you songs on to the media player you can do that by clicking the dropdown arrow right below the library tab...then click add to library...and it will ask you where to add the music from click where ever your music is saved...then once it has finished click the sync tab...it should automatically find you mp3 player....once thats done drag and drop music from the library side of the screen to you mp3 player side and it should do it..............IF NOT go to my docs (my documents) and click one song...then press the ctrl button and A and eveything should highlight then press ctrl c at the same time and everything will copy then minimaize that page and do to my computer...then go to you mp3 player select the music folder if there is one...(if not its fine)....then press ctrl v and it will say copying files...and that will work...if not try reformatting you mp3 player...you can do this by going to my computer then right clicking on your mp3 player then a box will appere click the word format then go back and go to music in the mp3 player threw the my computer folder...then put the music back in the way that is written above
