Canon mp600 showing error

6A00 Is the code for a paper path feed error. this is sometimes caused by the purge unit becoming clogged with debris. The purge unit sits underneath the cartridge print head and is designed to keep the ink flowing and clear. Turn the printer on, lift the lid so the cartridges move to the center and turn off. Look where the cartridges normally sit and you will see a sponge housed in a plastic frame. Move this frame back and forward, remove the cartridges and replace them, then turn the printer back on.
If this does not solve the problem then unfortunately a replacement printer of a service call to canon is un-avoidable.
I hope this helps Regards GM

My printer is not responding to the computer

Test the cables.

USB cables uses to fail without advise.

If you are connected by parallel cable, replace it.

If it is connected by Ethernet, make a ping to the ip address of the printer con see if there is phisical connection to the printer.

Have a canon pixma mp560 every time I print it

try these steps:

Setting SNMP on the Device SNMP helps monitor the state of the machine and collects information on it. The following items can be set:
<Community Name>: Sets the SNMP community name. You can specify up to two community names. <Writable SNMP>: Enables the computers on the network to access the machine and modify its settings if this item is activated. You can specify this setting for each community separately. <Get Printer Management Information from Host>: Enables automatically the SNMP port monitoring function to obtain printer management information such as information on print applications and printer ports, if you are using Windows Vista and set [Standard TCP/IP port] for the printer driver port. 1. Press (Additional Functions).
Press g0014901.png (Additional Functions). 2. Press [System Settings] 7400rightpointer.jpg [Network Settings] 7400rightpointer.jpg [SNMP Settings].
If the System Manager ID and System Password have been set, enter the System Manager ID and System Password using g0015291.png - g0015292.png (numeric keys), then press g0015353.png (Log In/Out) to enter the System Settings menu. The SNMP Settings screen appears. 3. Select [On] or [Off] for <Use SNMP>.
[On]: When you set or browse each item of the machine with utility that uses SNMP to obtain information. Proceed to step 4. [Off ]: When you do not use an SNMP utility. Skip to step 7. 4. To change Community Name to a name other than <public>, press [Community Name], then enter the community name using the touch panel keyboard.
5. Select [On] or [Off] for <Writable SNMP>.
[On]: Allows the computers on the network to access the machine and modify its settings. [Off ]: The computers on the network cannot access the machine and modify its settings. 6. Select [On] or [Off] for <Get Printer Management Information from Host>.
[On]: Enables the SNMP port monitoring function to automatically obtain printer management information such as information on print applications and printer ports if you are using Windows Vista and set [Standard TCP/IP port] for the printer driver port. [Off ]: Disables the above function. 7. Confirm the settings you specified, then press Turn off the machine, wait at least 10 seconds, then turn it on. [OK].
8. Press [Done] repeatedly until the Additional Functions screen closes.
9. Restart the machine.
Turn off the machine, wait at least 10 seconds, then turn it on.

I want to download a user guide for my MP980

This was very difficult to find, but I found it just for you! Please make sure you rate my answer 4 thumbs up! Thanks so much for understanding, it would be a huge help to me. Here is the manual / guide, it is quite large so give it a few minutes to load once you click on it:

I have a canon i860. It stopped printing

Firstly have you downloaded the latest driver from Canon's website?
Secondly I suggest you uninstall the printer, disconnect the data cable to the
printer, open the Printers applet in control panel and select File/Server
Properties and click the Drivers tab. Then remove any and all drivers for the
i860. Now run the installer and plug the data cable into the printer when asked
to. See if that helps.
My concern is that if the test page is good then it may not be a printer
problem but removing the old driver from your system as detailed above is well
worth while.
