Take your incoming phone line and plug it into the place that says "line" on your fax machine. Plug another phone cord into where it says "phone" and connect this to your telephone. Test to make sure you have chosen the right places by dialing a phone number to fax to and listen for the dial tone. If you get a dial tone, then you have set it up correctly.

On the fax machine look for the button that says "menu". Push it and use the up and down arrows to navigate the options on the display. Look for fax set up and press "ok" or "enter" on the fax machines keyboard to access this area. Look for "number of rings" and change the fax machine to a number of rings that is less then your voice mail box if you have one. Then close and save your choices.

Have someone send a test fax by dialing your phone number for the line connected to the machine. The fax machine will pick up on the number of rings set and automatically begin receiving and printing a copy of your incoming fax.

You cannot use magic jack.

You can also choose to manually answer an incoming fax if you see that your display on the fax machine says "ringing" or incoming" you can push the "start" button and this will start receiving your incoming fax.

Here's the procedure:

- Press the "HOME" button on the panel
- Scroll with the wheel to the screwdriver icon (settings) and select it with OK
- select the icon with two "sliders" pictured
- a menu will appear; Language Selection option is 6th from the top, scroll to it and select
- you should see the languages available now. Scroll to English and confirm

This is per manual. Should the 6th option not produce language selection (perhaps the internal menu is a newer version), press HOME again and restart, selecting, say, 5th or 7th option, until you find the languages choice; you can always escape a wrong choice by pressing HOME button.

?? Inkjets on a Laser Printer? Not going to happen because they don't exist. Laser printers work on a heat transfer type drum. Every time you change a color cartridge you are changing the Drums so that shouldn't be an issue. There are some parts in the Printer itself that could be causing problems for you if you are having smudging or mixing of colors but that will be another problem.

You can download the required installation drivers and software from manufacturer's site by clicking this link

On the page which opens, select the operating system (Windows XP/Vista) of your laptop computer and select the Language (English) from the drop-down menu, then click "Submit" button to open the list of available drivers and softwares.

Download and install the appropriate drivers and software.

Did you properly or surely remove the sealer on the cartridge? If you did it, then you should try the following below:

1) Take the cartridge off and put it back, make sure is in the right way.
2) Push the cleaner bar all the way were it belongs.
3) Press the "on" button for 10 seconds.
4) Disconnect the printer and have re-start.
5) Call a friend that knows about electronics.

Run the printer cleaning utility 3 times in a row (with the cartridges in the printer). if it doesn't work, remove the cartridges and run under hot water for three seconds and then try to blot.

The best procedure to follow is:
Check the paper path in the printer for any foreign material, such as bits of paper that got stuck, or something that may have accidentally fallen into the printer.
Once the printer path is clear, unplug your printer for about 15 minutes to clear printer cache.
If the printer still won't work, you need to unplug the printer from the computer.
Then, in Add/Remove Hardware in your computer Control Panel, remove the printer program.
Turn off your computer and reboot.
Then, reinstall your printer software and follow instructions.
This should clear up your problem.

REMOVE THE PRINTER SOFTWARE FROM YOUR COMPUTER AND RESTART BOTH THE PC AND PRINTER AND WHEN IT OPENS INSTALL PRINTER SOFTWARE AND CHECK THE USB WIRE THEN THE PRINTER WORKS
