With both PC and LAPTOP Motherboards,Pc Motherboards are easier to Wipe Passwords than laptops because of ease of getting to the Jumper on the motherboard normally by the battery on the motherboard.I would suggest looking online for the motherboard manual which should show you where the bios reset jumper is.Laptops are just the same but a lot harder sometimes to find this jumper. Shine a flashlight on the dark screen to see if you barelysee the icons on the desktop. If so, then the LCD Inverter is bad. Plug in an external monitor and see if the display shows up on it. It can beany kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vgacable to connect to your computer's vga port. If so that proves yourvideo card is ok. The video will show on most systems when you rebootwithout you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN(Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correctkey for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key willnormally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display. If you see no icons by shinning a flash light and the external monitor works,then your screen is bad. If you see no icons by shinning the flash lightand nothing shows on the external monitor, then most likely your video card isbad.

there are a few options, firstly if your tv accepts a monitor cable vga hd cable, then you can connect directly, if not you can go through a ps3 or xbox 360 or even a dvd player with a usb.....load the film onto the usb and play from the dvd player /xbox/ps3

If you cannot access the machine after if has been powered up, it is still possible to get past the BIOS password. The BIOS password is stored in CMOS memory that is maintained while the PC is powered off by a small battery, which is attached to the motherboard. If you remove this battery, all CMOS information (including the BIOS password) will be lost. You will need to re-enter the correct CMOS setup information to use the machine. The machines owner or user will most likely be alarmed when it is discovered that the BIOS password has been deleted.

On some motherboards, the battery is soldered to the motherboard, making it difficult to remove. If this is the case, you have another alternative. Somewhere on the motherboard you should find a jumper that will clear the BIOS password. If you have the motherboard documentation, you will know where that jumper is. If not, the jumper may be labeled on the motherboard. If you are not fortunate enough for either of these to be the case, you may be able to guess which jumper is the correct jumper. This jumper is usually standing alone near the battery. If you cannot locate this jumper, you might short both of the points where the battery connects to the motherboard.

Does the laptop come on when you plug in the mains and take out the battery? If it doesn't then it could be a faulty power switch.

go to network and sharing center. it should be where you click on the internet icon down at the bottom in taskbar right side. when it opens try setting up a new network. if that don't do it check to make sure your wi fi is on or needs resetting. also on that page in the network center is a pretty good troubleshooter. good luck

Sir I would recommend you to re-install the windows and then Check. If you had the recovery on your Laptop. Go for it! but do make sure you don't have any important data on the root drive.
