I used to own this phone and had a friend that did too the big problem with this phone was the fact that buttons did break and no one really has a fix. All i can suggest is that you go to a credited repair shop if the phone means that much to you but i ended up replacing mine after the keys started to snap and then buttons started to stop working. It's one of those devises that always has problems..

PUK code and PIN Code:

Please dont try more than 3 times.If you try more than 3 times the Sim will get locked.And it will ask for PIN code.Both these PUK and PIN code can be given only by the network service provider. Please call the network service provider of your mobile.And ask him to provide the PUK code or PIN code.He will ask you some basic details like name,date of birth for his verification.And he will provide you the PUK and PIN code.This is done for free of cost.

You could try this but im not 100% sure if it will work.
Call your cell phone provider. They can have you purposely lock the phone, and then give you the PUK code to unlock it so that you can enter a new privacy code.
OR
Send the device back to the manufacturer or take it to a shop to have the software flashed and reloaded



(Start at 0000 and keep adding 1 to it (0000; 0001; 0002; etc) until you hit the right number) :P

just remove your current sim card, get another spare sim card or your friends sim card and insert it in your phone and switch on then follow the instructions for basic setup on your phone and it will directly lead to the language options of your phone, then select the language appropriately

if this did not work go to settings (differentiate menus using the icons) 1st option (general) use your track pad and press it twice this will land on the language menu then press the center button or select button

Press and hold the 1 key on your phone. When you reach your voicemail, listen for the prompts to make the changes you need to make. If you are still having trouble, call your cellular service provider and request customer service provide the instructions over the phone to you. They'll be glad to help.
