hi, as far as my experience has thought me unlock codes are the best method to unlock your phone, i used codes from http://www.prounlocking.com/ to unlock my phone and it worked well jus check if your phone is listed for unlocking

If you are talking about the security lock code to enter into the phone then once it is lost nothing can be done except flashing the mobile . Because if anybody can give the security code created then who ever who steals your phone can get into it and get your valuable information.

So as safety precaution to avoid that they have designed it such that if you forget the security lock you have to reset the mobile memory by flashing the mobile at an authorized service center.So while flashing the mobile all the data in the mobile memory will be lost and you can again start using the mobile.

Plug it in and move the cable starting from the plug, making sure that you only move part of the wire. if it's a break, you might find the break and get the sound back while holding the wire in a certain way, which means that you'll have found where the break is. Depending on the location of the break in the wire, you may open the actual headphone and use a clip to hold the wire and resolder the wires (usually touch the end of the wire to the soldering gun and melt the shield coating away, dip in to flux and then to the mini board.)

If in the wire, carefully slice (lengthwise) into the wire (use any extra wire you might have to reconnect the old) then split electrical wire to seal the old wire. The Use the extra to secure the hold.

Flex connector that connects upper and lower panel seems to be the problem and needs a replacement,due to strong sliding up and down mechanism that might cause cut off the flex or ribbon.parts and service are available in any mobile service shop near you.

If the mobile has the history of dropping the phone,this can be fix by inserting the flex properly and fit,this may lose contact during the incident.you can fix it alone by unscrewing 4 screw at the upper back panel,lift up the cover,remove side buttons then lift up the main board and check the slot and clips which the flex connector is inserted. as well as doing it on upper panel.

If the mobile accidentally fell into water,just do the same way you open,Particularly on upper panel which keypad is not working,might corrosion,stained exists and need to clean the keypad membrane and the keypad interface.

If you think this method looks difficult to do, just ask assistance to any mobile service shop near you...Good luck
