Hello, welcome to FixYa.

The short answer is yes it can be repaired, however it requires replacing the glass top unfortunately...and as you may or may not know they are usually well in the range of $500-600 or more.

You can check on the availablilty of your particular cooktop at the link shown here or you may opt to contact a local service center.

Hope that at least answer's your question. Good luck and thank you for choosing FixYa.

Viking Designer Series gas cooktop not cleaning well

I'm sorry to say that there is not a wonder solution for this. You try laying a damp cloth on the aluminum part to try and allow the moisture to soak in the clean it off.
Don't use anything abrasive as the aluminum will scratch.

One of the electric burners on our induction cooktop is misfiring and making noise. Who can fix these things? Is it better to buy a new one?

I recommend to buy a new one, induction cooktop prices have come down a lot and there are good ones available for about $1000. FOr me, the only problem with putting a new one in was the hole in the countertop was too small for the new cooktop (Viking has a smaller hole requirement than most other cooktops). So be sure to measure the hole in the countertop before you buy a new one so you can buy one that fits.

One burner of the five will not ignite

You could have a broken wire or loose connection to that burner. Remove that burner and locate the wire to the electrode for your answer. I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gere_bf68e6055dd61249

We have a viking cook

Hi,
Some units have a dead man switch, which means that if the filters are not in place correctly the blowers will not operate. Its a safety thing to prevent little ones from dropping toys into a running blower. Double check the filters placement, if the filters are in the proper location than I would look at the power to the blower unit. The vent has two jobs, (1) to raise and lower, (2) to turn on the blower unit once in the full up position. If this is not the case, the upper switch in the vent system has failed. If you already confused, you will need to call a Viking expert to correct this problem. Its not difficult but can be time consuming.
I hope this helps
I have seen this problem twice and found the filters were the problem, rarely replace blower motors.. I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/gere_bf68e6055dd61249
