First connect your router to computer with ethernet lan cable.
Then you can access it with following link.
http://192.168.1.1
or
http://192.168.0.1

If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip and gateway ip is your router ip access router with it.
Then it ask for user and password.
Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" orblank or "password"
Then you can see configuration page of router.
Then configure DNS settings in wan settings as dns ip get automatic from internet service provider.
Then save settings and restart router.

You can set up your router manually, without the CD.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online directly through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem, that means the modem is working fine.
You will need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

You are trying to open the NAT on the router for X-box.
For this you will need to reduce the MTU settings on the router to 1365.
You will also need to trigger some ports on the router.

using your computer connected to the router log onto the router configuration page and change it in the settings. to access most routers you need the ip typed in the address bar of your internet browser, usually something like " 192.168.1.1 " you will then most likely need a username and password to log on. The default username can be found in your hardwares manual or website

Make sure your broad band cable connected properly to modem and cable is work fine.
Reset your modem to factory defaults.
Press RESET button it is in back side of modem.Hold that RESEt button for 10 seconds then check.
There should be issue with your broad band cable .Remove that cable jack and try with new jack.
