This network service allows you to set your phone number to be displayed ON or hidden OFF from the person you are calling. You can select SET BY NETWORK if you prefer to have different settings for different service providers.

Start the phone and hold down (call+3+5+*) to restart the factory settnings

the easiest way is to tell him,

I had the same problem with my LG VU this morning and it got fixed after changing from 3G mode to 2G mode using these steps:

Press 277634#*#
Then go through the menu:
Modem Setting
Network Mode
Network Mode
2G only

Default security code is 0000.

Try using the side keys to adjust the volume. It sounds like the phone is on silent. Go into the audio settings and play around the ring tone, text, dial tone sounds and settings until you feel that it is appropriate for you.

If the phone is still not responding with sounds or tones after you have set the audio settings, the phone might be defective and you may need to have the phone company look at it.

The imei number is usualy under the battery ... take of the battery cover and remove the battery and you should see imei ##############

If you just bought be sure plastic layer is removed from inside. it can be hard to notice but its usually ther. if already removed or not there. make sure your volume is all the way up for phone calls. if its not that it sound like its a problem with the speaker in the ear piece. or in the programing. . depending on when you bought contact store or return to store and get phone replaced. If you bought from service provider they will replace if within a year.

Well, the music dosent automaticly tranfer to your phone. You need a progam to tranfer files. That program you can find on the phone manufactures site.
If you need help finding it let me know. And in that case i need to know the model of your phone,

if it wa simple then that would negate the reason for a security code.. I am suprised they sugested a new sim card... I am also suprised they wanted you to send back the phone for them to remove the code when they could have supplied you with the PUK code (to unblock the phone) over the phone while you were speaking to them (all you shoould have had to do is give them the IMEI number that was printed on the phone and on the box it came in) I hope you get the problem resolved with the phone soon and remember... if you use a code to stop a theif from using the phone dont forget the code... it is not meant to be easy to get by it

if you havnt changed the code ever, it will probably be the last four digits of your phone number

Hi, I've explained it on this page basicly the puk code has noting todo with your phone, its on the sim card for protection, the pin code when entered 3 times wrong will enable the puk code and block the pin code.

you will need to get the puk code from your service provider and you will be able to change the pin code ones you have the puk.
