its a software issue try installing software update from sony ericsson website if it doesnt help then take to service center , u can also find repair tools google it u will find some forum to repair software dead sets tell me if it helps

For this problem i worked around by turning on the camera with the phone slider close. When it says slide the cover, do it and it generally works.

Have you tried cleaning where you would normally put the SIM card?

Take your battery out, hold the phone up right and it is in the top right of where your battery goes it slides in and when it comes time to take it out push it and out it pops.

upgrade the software

go into settings and then press master reset after that u will have to set time date and ring tones contacts should still be there and sound should work. this happened to me about a week after i got mine and i did that and it worked so i hope it woks 4 u

i just fixed mine. get a small screw driver and under the corner that doesn't go in lift the little hook with the screw driver so that its sort of straight and it should click back in

this happened to me all i did was turn it on again and it worked. it hasn't happened again if this doesn't help sorry

you can order a new one at any sony erricson store

i had exactly the same problem but mine was green
i sent it off to sony ericsson and they sent it back. It was fine for about a day and then the green light came on and hasnt gone off.
