HP Compaq Presario V6000T Notebook PC Questions & Answers
Back light turns off and on hooked up to the charger at almost full charge what can i do to fix this kind of issue?
This could be a power issue. If the charger port on the computer. If it got to hot or bumped or something either port on the computer could have been damaged. The charger itself could be going bad. Also might even be a virus causing it to change the settings. Worse casethe backlight on the screen is failing.
Checking your display setting could help. Running virus scans could help. Might need to replace backlight and/or screen. Might just need to reinstall windows all together.

Hi,
The Grub bootloader that Linux uses may be conflicting with the install program for Windows.
I suggest formatting the partition you had Ubuntu installed on if your intent is to replace it.
This should make the partition available to Windows 7.
If you wanting to dual boot then i'm sorry you can't at the moment because of compatibility issues between wubi/mint4win and grub2, Linux Mint 8 comes without a
Windows installer. The development team is working on the issue and new ISOs will be published when it is resolved.
Keep your eye on the Mint 8 website for the latest ISO with the windows installer included.
Regards.

I keep getting a "not responding " message. What steps can I do t
I have a solution to your problem. there can be many things wrong with your pc, but the most common problems are that your computer could have malware or a virus , or your computer is getting enough memory to run, because of that it stops responding, what i recommend you doing is getting a good cleaner like advanced system cleaner and cleaning your computer, from all the junk thats taking up your memory,, also try not to run too many programs at once... uninstall programs you dont use,,, if none of those things work i recommend you scanning your pc with a good antivirus program to search for trojans and malware... also clean your registry advanced system cleaner has a pretty good registry cleaner.... good luck.

Built in microphone
Try going to the control panel, then system, then device manager, find your audio icon and delete it(highlight it and press the "delete" key on your keyboard) then reboot your computer and see if it works then.

Dont know
You have a problem with your RAm most probably. There is a chance of a problem with the hard drive also
Try to increase the virtual ram and see(You can do it by getting system properties and by moving to Advanced->Performance.
Set it to system managed size

Deinstall SP3. Nothing works with it.
If you can't deinstall it, you'll have to reinstall Windows, I'm sorry.
I hope this helps,
