Usb connection on sirius stiletto 2 to pc
I had a sync problem with the Stiletto 2 (SL2) and was able to resolve it by the following procedure:
Click "Start"
Click "Run" > Type "devmgmt.msc"
Click "+" next to "Other Devices"
Note: You should see a question mark and exclamation point next to "Stiletto 2"
Right click on "Stilleto 2" (to see menu); then, left Click "Update Driver."
Follow the steps in the windows hardware update wizard.
My Sirius Stiletto 2 needed
You need to have "My Sirius Studio" software installed on your PC for the unit to be recognized and to perform the update once you've connected it with a USB cable.
You'll find the instructions and the download link for the software here - .

Froze at the dog logo
exact same problem here. the fuse inside is blown, according to sirius tech support.
I have a new one "on order" as a warranty replacement. They said it could take up to a month (in canada)
i read many bad reviews about this unit... now I agree with them completely. 3 months of light home use before a fuse blows? Pathetic.
A month wait for a new one? Unforgivable.
How do I deactivate my
Give sirius a call. You'll need the account password to deactivate the radio. If it's lifetime activation, then just let it stay active. The new owner will not be able to access your account, or view any information about it.
I'm having the exact same problem with my Stiletto
Continuity check your fuses, they're tiny green SMD fuses located near your dock connector. However, it sounds more like a bad internal connection than a fuse. This was a problem that plagued ST1 sirius radios: solder on the chips' pins would crack, and when the unit heated or cooled it would no longer make a connection, thus requiring a reboot. Long story short, most of them can't be fixed without reworking the connections (and that's a lot of effort for something that will break again).
I'd advise you to send the unit back to sirius if you're still under warranty.
My Stiletto 2 works fine
You may want to try to run a device recovery. Sometimes when a battery is drained, the Stiletto only remembers the status of the last battery as it ran completely out. A device recovery would help it reinitialize and recognize a new battery. Instructions and links for device recovery can be found here:

The radio shuts down between 2-15 mins everytime.

How do you save music to the sd card
The microSD card for the Stiletto2 can only hold your MP3s.
All Sirius content is recorded to the internal memory of the Stiletto2.
Hope this helps.
