usually when the defrosting unit wont work ...to defrost them and see what is the problem you can use a heat source like a hair drier ..It works ..but if they are really frosty you have to have patience ...After you defrost them you can see what is the matter ..usually can be something simple like the fan being frozen and would not work ..and the issue got into a vicious circle...after that ..

Hi, I have searched the Internet for the last 1/2 for any thing on McCall Commercial Reach-ins. I did however find the name side by side with Bevearage-Air, Traulsen, Denfield,True, Ect. McCall was right there. When I clicked on it, I was taken to all the other brands? I was able to get a number for you and hopefully this link may help you to get where you need to go.

there is a possibility that the motor has failed due to long term moisture exposure

You would need to change the condensing unit (outside bit) to a larger duty, you would probably need to change the evaporator (inside coil) to match the condensing unit. You would need to install drain heater, door heaters and probably change part if not all of the control circuit. In short I would suggest not doing this unless you want to make a fridge guy a lot richer. I know fridges that can get to sub zero temps without help but I would suggest that you would be better off to buy a purpose made freezer as what would be required would probably cost as much and not look as nice. Hope this is of some help.

Same problem here with no manual for Davina Cross Trainer. Lost the instruction pack during house move. Any kind soul who can scan and send to me or take a photo. I am just stress out looking at the nuts and bolts in the bag. Thanks
