Hi
Firstly and would remove all the leads from your TV and check them. If after checking your HDMI leads etc... and its still the same then i would reset the TV to the original Samsung settings. This is completed on your remote control by the following........
Turn your tv to standby, on the remote when in standby press the keys on the remote in the following order........ INFO.........MENU..........MUTE.........POWER ON.
You will now notice the picture comes on with the engineers settings in the background. With the direction keys on the remote scroll down to number 12 (RESET) Then press OK or the right direction key, Your tv will switch off and load the Samsung factory settings. Switch the TV back on and go through the setup procedure.Once completed then try your HDMI again.
If it is still failing then there is a strong possibility that your Eeprom IC on your main AV Board is corrupt and needs replacing. This should only be attempted if you have good soldering skills as they are Surface mounted and very small.
My advise if your skills are not that good is just to replace the main AV board (Scart Board) these usually sell for around £50 but WILL solve your problem.
I have gone trough everything i know here that would cure the fault, most times one of the above three will cure this, but im afraid other times its just time for a new AV board.
Hope iv helped some people out here.
Any comments or thumbs up appreciated.

Sound but no picture
Hello,
Problem is in either power supply or the Y-Sustain board.
The Y-Sustain is a relatively large board out of which go connections to the side of the display; it's therefore closer to either the left or the right side of the display, has at least one rather large heat sink on it and fat power cables connecting it to the main power supply.
Often there are fuses on that board - one or more.
if they are blown you can try to replace them, but expect them to blow again - usually the whole board needs to be replaced.
Hope this help in solving the problem......

The screen is black. what
Hi,
Probably the back light is not working properly, some have a balance circuit that needs to see the upper and lower back light on and if one is not working it shuts down .Also some models are wired through the processor, you can change out the processor or hard wire around the processor the back light. The back light will come on only when power is cycled and should work for you just fine and is the cheapest method.
Try touching the menu screen on remote to see if you can see image, if you can then the lcd screen is bad and would need to be replaced. The same would be if you can't see any image.
This is costly repair but you can take to repair shop to get it checked out for a small fee
Please get back to us if you have any further query or else accept the solution.

Hello,
The problem with the television is either the lamp is bad or the t-com board is bad.
Have both the lamp and t-com board checked, then replace the faulty component.
Take care and good luck

Screen burning
set your monitor to shut off automatically so the images won't burn onto the screen
