How fix Loud g4 Hard Drives
Not sure what you mean by loud Hard Drives. Hard drives are so quiet you can barely hear them. If they are loud the only cure is replacement. However, I have never heard a hard drive that I would consider 'loud' in all my years in computing./ As you show a mirror fronted mac in your question - I think you may mean loud 'Fans'. This mac was notorious for its loud fans. They can be replaced, but I seem to remember a firmware fix from Apple to slow them down - or it may have been a 3rd party utility.
Apple mac g4 youtube videos
There is no real solution that makes it easy. I would download VLC Media Player from videolan.org, and using that, copy the YouTube link, open VLC, then click Media, then Open Network Stream, and paste the link into the window that opens. The video should play faster than on the YouTube website.

The drive may not be formatted to correctly to work with a Mac as most are pre-formatted for PC use.
Use the Disc Utility on your Mac application to format your drive as Mac OS Extended.
Use the Zero out data option for best results, this may take an hour or two.

This could well be to do with your internet connection - almost everyone suffers from slow speeds sometimes. If this isn't the problem, perhaps downloading the newest version of Firefox would help. Firefox is a great browser, but known to be slow. Do you have these problems in Safari, too?
Hope that helped!
It is a Power Mac G4 800 X 2 with 1.5 GB SDRAM.
JIM, IF YOU ARE USING 1 500GB DRIVE, UOU MAUS FIRST INSTALL IT WITH YOUR OS DISK AS A NEW VOLUME, THEN COPY YOUR DATA TO IT. IF YOU ARE INSTALLING 2 500GB DRIVES A A SINGLE DRIVE RAID SYSTEM, INSTALL THE FIRST DRIVE, THEN AFTER SETUP ADD THE SECOND DRIVE, THEN USE DISK MANAGER TO CONFIGURE THE RAID. HOPE I AM UNDERSTANDING YOUR ISSUE OK.

Mac G4. Anytime using safari for maps, hotels,
The spinning wheel is an indicator that your machine is so overloaded it cannot pay attention to any user input. Occasional appearance is acceptable; chronic appearance is not. It could mean you have insufficient memory in your computer. It could mean you have a bad spot on your hard drive. It could mean you have insufficient free space left on your hard drive. It could mean you have corrupted software. It could mean you have a bad browser plugin. It could even be a symptom of a bug in Flash taking down your browser.
In System Preferences / Accounts, create a new user. Log in as that new user. Access some maps, hotels, etc. If the wheel comes up, the problem is likely to be hardware related. If it doesn't, the problem is likely to be plugin related.
