If you’re hearing a fast knocking or a fast grinding sound, then it is your motor going bad. This will result in an LE code and the unit will no longer work as this gets worse.
You can get a replacement sump assembly that has the motor and all new sensors to resolve this issue.

If you are getting a "water inlet" error "IE" I found out thru trial and error that my inlet valve(s) were messed up. On my particular machine you can put the machine in trouble-shooting mode by pressing the "Spin Speed" and the "Soil Levels" at the same time and press the "Power" button while doing that. Then advance thru all the functions by pressing the "Start button" 
1 time; Tumbles clockwise,
2 times Low level spin, 
3 times; High speed spin,
4 times Inlet valve for prewash, 
5 times; Inlet valve for main wash, 
6 times, Inlet valve for Hot water, 
7 times: Inlet valve for softner, 
8 times; inlet valve for bleach, 
9 times; tumble counter-clockwise, 
10 times; turns Heater on (if equipped) 
11 times; circulation pump, 
12 times; drain pump, 
13 times; power off and unlocks the door

Follow up to previous post.I replaced my sum seal and other nec. gaskets and reassembled.The TE code is gone and dishwasher performs as designed.I hope this helps someone with one of these POS dishwashers.Thanks
