My LG Stainless steel dishwasher will not run.

Hi

If their is a beep sound and it is from the dial not from the bottom where the motor is so the issue seems to be with the Timer/control board going bad and should be replaced to solve this issue. However, you can unplug the unit and then blow some air with the help of hair dryer before replacing the Timer motor/control board. If the sound comes from the motor area then it is the motor that should be replaced. When the motor goes bad it will fill with water and empty. One more thing to check will be the door lock-switch assembly, because if the control detects door not locked it won't run cycle and will just drain the water out. Hope this helps...

Low water pressure in the dishwasher, doesn't

Hi

This issue is either caused by a bad inlet valve or the pressure switch that is bad. You can try to clean the water inlet valve and the water lines for any clogs & then try to test the pressure switch, replace the part that is bad. Hope this helps...

There is a kind of grinding noise.

The most common reason for a grinding noise on an LG dishwasher is debris getting stuck (rather than ground up in the build in disposal.)

To resolve, remove the approximately 9 screws on the filter assembly in the sump area. You will need to remove the lower spray arm to get the filter out. Grab the spray arm and lift up and out.

Use a flashlight to inspect the entire area, especially in the rear area that has the valve that alternated sending water from the lower spray arm to the upper spray arms. I bet you fill find something lodged in there. Please be careful of broken glass as it can be almost invisible in water that remains in the sump area.

Please post back here what you find, OK?

After the machine finished its cicle, there is

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
Dishes are not fully dry because the water did not drain completely and dishwasher not draining completely problem usually occurs due to clogged/blocked drain hose or the drain pump not working. First try to clean the drain hose and drain pump filter for any clogs, then check drain pump operation. If the problem returns after cleaning then it is the drain pump that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

LE error code, bell ringing

Not an expert, but we paid $60 for the repair man to come out and just run his hand along the touch pad on the door. It stopped the error code and the bell ringing noise! I wish they would have mentioned that over the phone and I could have saved $60!

Middle spray arm is not turning

check the arm assembly bearing for free play, then the spray arm for food residue blockage, then if these are o.k.,then replace the water conduit that runs up the back interior wall of the washer, the basket has what is called a water horn and is rolled into and against the water conduit to get water to this arm to turn it,after time this horn loses fit and lets water get past it so you lose water pressure and it no longer gets the watert pressure needed to turn it

Keep getting a CD message toward end of cycle and

Please confrim if the code displayed is CD or do you get some other message on the console panel after each of the cycles is completed.

Have you tried increasing the rinse aid setting to increase its volume. This could help with improving the quality of the wash.

Most likely there is some earlier rubbish in the drain pump system and this could be effecting the wash cycle.

Hope this helps with diagnossing .
