you should replace with a SATA laptop hard disk....

First u remove the orbicam drivers and restart.After windows booting,u insert orbicam driver cd and instal it.After installation completed,once again u restart the laptop.

Try acer recovery management . should be installed on your pc. look for the restore button when the program opens.

I don't know what "Wall" he was talking about. Try with a USB cable mouse. This will isolate the laptop hardware from the equation. It could be that when the memory was upgraded, the mousepad connector became undone. It can easily happen.

go to Control Panel / Manage / and look if you find your CD Rom there... if it has a Yellow Box with an exclamation mark it means something is wrong with it.

Go and get the name of the CD Rom and go to your Laptops manuf. web site. Download drivers and reinstall the CD Rom Drive.

You can use the Vista driver most of the time in Windows 7 for older device. I have had a lot of success.
You can try it if it does not work you always uninstall it.

then scroll down and see if they have any drivers for you

this normally means a bad sound driver. get new drivers.
