My apple laptop will not boot up all the way. it

Check ATI graphics chip heat sink, remove the soft pad that is over the chip and contacts the metal heatsink and replace with a penny prior to 1983 for good copper content. The penny will transmit heat more effectively than pad to the heatsink and will also put tension ontop of the chip to make better contact into its own solder and it will hopefully reseat itself. the problem seems to be that the chip heats up so much that it actually lifts itself out of its surface mount solder connections and becomes disconnected and that means no video. Look up "Mac ATI reflow"

I need a way of

There's a "Change Password" utility on the install disk that the computer came with. If you don't have the install disk, there's another way, but it's a bit tricky...
Boot into single-user mode by pressing Command-S when the computer boots up Type the following: fsck -fy mount -uw / launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.DirectoryServices.plist dscl . -passwd /Users/{username} {password} reboot
make sure you replace {username} with the targeted user and {password} with the desired password.

Forget my password on mac

I am assuming that you don't know the password for the administrator account on the laptop. Unfortunately the only way to change the admin password is to re-install the OS (operating system). Seeing that you don't have the disc you will have to purchase one or dig up the one that came with the computer. The Snow Leopard OS disc is available from Amazon.com for just $40 here. Once the disc arrives simply insert the disc and follow through the steps to re-install the OS. More detailed instructions on installing Snow Leopard here. Hope this helps! To log on I

There is no way you can use this accout without password but you can create a new admin account to use your computer.
Creating a new Admin on Mac Os X:
Here's how to reset your OS X password without an OS X CD.
the Working solution for me was to create a new admin
you can create new admin like this by deleting a specific file.

You need to enter into terminal and create a new admin account:

1. Reboot
2. Hold apple key + s key down after you hear the chime. (command + s on newer Macs)
3. When you get text prompt enter in these terminal commands to create a brand new admin account (hitting return after each line):

mount -uw /
rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
shutdown -h now

4. After rebooting you should have a brand new admin account. When you login as the new admin you can simply delete the old one and your good to go again!

Hope this helps. Please rate if you like my solution thanks

My macbook g4 starts to

Presumably your machine is older than 2 years, if its not then Apple should repair it under warranty (call them - visit apple.com for their info) Check out eu warrenty regulations. This may be an overheating issue if it has just randomly started to occur. You could try vacuum/hoovering any fan/air inlet/outlets.If you have added any hardware unplug it.Some articles by apple with comprehensive info on trouble shooting.Mac OS X 10.3.9 or earlier:http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1411Mac OS X v10.5: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1541Or google "mac startup troubleshooting" if the above are not relevant to your operating system.Do you have a backup of your data? If not then taking a backup should be your first step. Your data will almost certainly be intact so don't worry, for advice on taking a backup please post your question on FixYa separately as its a different kettle of fish.Best of luck,Tom.

How to fix an apple mac keyboard after a water

Let it dry out in an open area for about 48 hours. Get a towel and try to gently press down on the keyboard to soak up as much water as possible. Have it set upside down with the screen open so the water can fall out of the keyboard rather than possibly leak into the inside.
