The lens on my C875 is stuck in the out position
If you've recently dropped the camera you may have damaged the lens tube (housing). This can prevent the lens from moving. This problem will require professional repair. If you haven't dropped the camera though, this problem is frequently battery related. Make sure that
you have the correct battery type installed, and that the batteries are
fresh/fully charged. If the problem persists, you may have corrosion
on the battery contacts inside that camera that is preventing full
battery power from flowing into the camera. Remove the batteries and
wipe the inside camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy
corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sand
paper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery
compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and
reinstall them in the camera. This cleaning solves the problem about
90% of the time, and I hope it works for you.
My C875 Kodak Camera does not display anything
This problem is frequently due to corroded battery terminals inside the
camera. Remove the batteries and wipe the terminals with a soft cloth
(heavy corrosion may require a fine wire brush, steel wool, or
sandpaper). Remove any residue left in the camera by the cleaning.
Clean the terminals on the batteries in the same manner, and then
replace them in the camera. This cures most problems, but if it
doesn't work for you, check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:

Kodak C875 digital camera - when turned on
Remove the batteries and clean the battery contacts inside the camera
with a soft cloth (a heavy buildup on the contacts may require cleaning
with a fine wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue
that the cleaning leaves in the camera, and then reinstall the
batteries. This clears most power-on problems, but if yours persists,

How to format the memory stick
Go into the menu on the camera, and you should find a format memory card option.
If you can let me know the brand and model, I will give you more detailed instructions.
MY BATTERIES GO DOWN VERY QUICK. HOW COME ??
My guess here is that you're using standard "AA" batteries. If you're doing this, a digital camera will **** the life out of them very quickly. Look into purchasing rechargable "AA" size Lithium-Ion batteries. They will last MUCH longer and save you a ton of cash on the alkaline batteries.

When i turn the camera on....it saids memory card
Use a computer with memory card reader, and read the card using a computer.
If the computer says the same and does not read the card, then the pictures inside the card are usually lost.
If computer instead does read the card, then transfer all picture on computer using the memory card reader, and format the card using complete formatting.
If you need to use the camera tonight, then buy a spare memory card.
If the camera returns same error on different card, then you may have a faulty memory card slot, but that is quite uncommon.

Unable to recover pics
It sounds like your memory card is damaged. Buying a new memory sounds like what is going to need to happen. If the camera shop ran three programs to salvage your photos and had no success then it means there's no fixing it.
