No. The camera does not have a charger on it. You will have to get a separate charger.

Hi,

I am sorry to say that the C875 is not compatible with SDHC cards. Only SD or MMC cards.
You can get SD cards up to 2GB.

This is not unusual in cameras of a few years old.

Hope this helps.

Dark pictures with zoom and in low light

Your best bet is to increase the ISO setting to at least 800. Don't use flash unless you're within 10 feet. My idea if a new camera would be a DSLR. Expensive, has a learning curve, but the results would be spectacular.

I understand that your brand is Samsung, but you have listed this as a KODAK camera.

I don't know if this applies to Samsung products as well as a C875 KODAK camera. But I hope it helps if not. Please re-submit your question under the correct brand. Thank you. Trouble shooting is as following:

1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera. Please use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher).

2. Clean the battery contacts.
a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera

3. Turn on your camera without the memory card.

Is there a limit to the size of the SD card I can

Hi,

You can format the card using your PC.

Please see my FixYa Tip on this subject here
http://www.fixya.com/support/r3770174-format_memory_card_using_computer

This camera is limited to a 1GB card according to the manual. However it should be able to handle cards up to 2GB. From your description, it certainly sounds that 4 and 8GB exceed its capabilities as it is an older model.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using FixYa.

Please also try to upload new firmware: I doubt that it will solve the issue, but the alternative is a repair.
Connect the camera with the computer.
Turn the camera on.
Click onto the link and follow the instructions.

If no luck the camera is in a need of a repair.
If your camera is Out of Warranty the repair of this model for this fault is about 48 pounds + shipping. KODAK also offers a Trade up option where you will have the opportunity to trade up to a newer model 25-30% cheaper than the market price.

Immediately turns off when turned on. New lithium

If the camera has recently been dropped you may have lens damage that is preventing it from powering up. If it hasn't been dropped your problem may be due to corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera and give them a full charge (assuming that you are using rechargeable batteries). This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, the camera may have a problem that requires professional repair.
