Password c mos dell inspiron 6400 i want to reset

The is an easy way of doing this if you can open the bottom part of your notebook then you will see a battery like that you put in watches. it's a flat silver battery that is 3Volts value. You take it off using a flat screwdriver then leave your computer for about 10 seconds. You then put back the battery. You cmos will be back to normal. The dates, time and everything will have to be reset again. Tell me if this worked. If you do not know the way to do it in detail please inform me then I shall explain.

How can i reset a forgotten cmos pass word

You need to remove the CMOS battery ( usually located under the keyboard ) AND the notebooks battery. Wait 3 or 4 minutes. replace the batteries . That should restore the COMS properly.

Dell inspiron 6400 is shutting

If you have the technical expertise, take the unit apart and apply thermal compound to the heat sink and clear out the dusk that has caked up on the exhaust of the fan. (you can find disassembly instructions online and even on youtube.) If you are not comfortable with that, then I would suggest taking it to a repair shop to have it looked at.
The cause is most likely overheating. However, other causes could be an old battery, ram going bad or a corrupt OS.

I have replaced my dell inspiron 6400 screen

1st : check if the wireless capability of your notebook is enabled. There might be a switch or button that needs to be pressed to enable the wireless capabilty of your notebook. 2nd : check the device manager if the wireless network card is listed with no question mark or exclamation point. if it has, then reinstall the driver. 3nd or the wireless card might loosen.. at the bottom of your notebook, you will find several screws there. look for a small box usually with 2 screws. Open that up and you should see a black and white cable connected to a small card. Ensure those 2 cables are connected. Ensure that the laptop is powered off when you do this. Then try it again. Hope that works. ~jash

Ntldr is missing for my

Best way to solve this is to reinstall your operating system. You don't need to format your hard drive so you're files will still be there. However, not all files may be retrieved and programs might not work properly. But if you don't have any important files, you can do a clean install and it will definitely resolve this issue. ~jash

Laptop connects to the wireless

If this happens to all of the wireless networks that you are trying to connect to. then it might be an issue with the wireless card or the operating system. However, if this only happens to one or you haven't notice if it happens to all the wireless networks. What you can do is to delete the wireless profile saved on your laptop and try to reconnect. Also, you may want to try to change your wireless network name on your router. hope that works. If still not, please provide some more details including the operating system that you are using in order for me to better assist you. ~jash

What does the error code 0f00:075d, 0f00:1344,

The error messages you have unfortunately indicate Hard Disk problems/unreadable media.
If you can get hold of 'Spinrite' or similar HDD low-level repair/alignment utility, you should try to repair your HDD before repairing your windows O/S which would have been corrupted. Those utilities will normally be executed from a Bootable CD or USB device.

I suggest that you do a 'Repair' to your windows installation: boot from your windows installation CD/DVD as if you were doing an upgrade. A repair option should be presented to you during the 'upgrade'.
Worst case scenario, your 'upgrade' (if no repair option is offered due to a major malfunction ... or virus attack) will attempt to preserve your current settings and installed softwares.

Hope it helps and good luck.

I cant enable my wi-fi

Hi,
First of all you need to check if the driver is installed. To check, click on Start > right click My Computer, click Manage, on the left side click Device Manager > check the right pane, you will see all the devices installed on your machine on that pane. Check if your wireless device is installed properly. If it has no marks on it on the device manager, you might just need to enable the device itself. Most Dell computers uses Fn+F2 keys to activate the wireless. if it has a yellow mark, just install the driver and you're done.
Hope this works.. Regards...

The cursor jumps backward often

You're probably hitting the touchpad with the heel of your hand while typing. Many people do it without realizing it, and the computer is just moving the cursor to where it thinks you're telling it to go. If you're doing lots of typing, you may want to plug in a USB external mouse and turn off the touchpad. This eliminates the cursor jumping, and a regular mouse makes moving around a document and selecting text easier.

I wnt to get my philhealth no.

Hi there!

First you must have a SSS number because that is your temporary philhealth number, if you do have that one next thing is to go to your nearest philhealth branch then ask for an MDR then you will have your number.

Hope this helps!

Dell inspiron 1520 error code 2000-0146

I had the same problem and came across this solution that worked for me as well:
Re: windows Vista will not start 18 Aug 2009 07:28PM I was getting a the same error codes and couldn't get Windows to boot up at all. I went to BIOS set up (restart your computer and hit F12 when the BIOS screen comes up), went to onboard devices and changed the SATA Operations from ACHSI (don't know how it got there) to the factory default setting ATA. Then I started up in "repair mode" (which was an option that was coming up when I tried to boot up before but never worked) - it went through a repair check and went to login screen.
Prior to finding this - I tried several things including start up from the Reinstallation disc, but nothing worked. I was ready to buy a new hard drive, but don't have to. Works fine!
Not sure what caused the problem to start with. It is an "Inspiron 1520"

I have Dell Inspiron 6400

Hi,

The sure way to rebuild this is to use system restore. Restore the system to a date when things are working properly. The reason why we need to use system restore is to know if this has something to do with a setting that was changed from the network card properties. Complete the system restore and see if works. Then we will start troubleshooting from there.

Hope this helps.
