Xerox CopyCentre C20 Black and White Copier - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How do I unlock the scanner?
There is a green lever underneath the scanner (where the copies exits). Push it towards the rear of the machine.
When I use the automatic document feeder on my
You have something on your "**** glass", the narrow piece of glass that the scanner "looks" through during adf use. Get some window cleaner or rubbing alcohol and clean it with a damp cloth. Often, it's correction fluid (Liquid Paper). A little dot is all it takes because the paper is traveling across the dot, effectively drawing a line down the length of the page.

004 error code350
I am afraid that that foult code means that the machine's software has to be reloaded. The only way this can be done is by a qulified xerox tech. It need a laptop with special software to connect to the machine to do the download.
Paper feed tray
HP had this problem. There's a small roller inside and a pet snaps off so it can't put enough pressure onto paper to pull into machine. Check for broken parts. And check for any grease that might have contaminated roller.

Drum warning is flashing
It you take the drum out, look on back, there is a little fuse on the top rear of the drum . Replace that fuse. Radio Shack will have them. Once the fuse is replaced, put the drum back in, It will see a new fuse, blow it and reset the counter. Really easy.

Bad Fuser. Google a business called The Parts Drop to order.
It is not difficult to replace. Remove the back cover, 4 phillips screws pull out slide the new one in.
I would remove the fuser first though. And check the plastic in the ends of the fuser. If they are melted, then the power supply has failed and you will have to replace both the fuser and power supply. If the fuser looks normal no plastic on the end of the rolls melted, then just replace the fuser.
No power
Before you dive into repairing or buying anything. Unplug the machine for a half an hour. Not turn off the switch, disconnect the plug and let it sit for no less than 30 minutes.
That power supply will lock up and it takes 30 minutes with the power removed for it to discharge and reset. I have seen this happen many many times and removing the power cord resolves the problem.
If that doesnt work there are a couple of fuses in the power supply that is located under the tray where the paper comes out. You remove the two screws on the cover on the side with the on off switch. Check the fuses POWER REMOVED. If it doesnt power up then most likely that power supply is bad. Google a business called "the parts drop. and contact Britt there. They should have the part at a fair price.
We have a xerox copycentre
Usually when equipment doesn't turn on, a fuse is blown or the power supply is faulty. I suggest you look into a local Xerox service center.Diagnosing power issues can be tedious, and power supplies general are fairly dangerous to mess with and with out knowledge of replacing them you can seriously damage your equipment. Other things that could be faulty are the main board or interconnecting cables.
First look for fuses in the back by the power cord.
Second, look for lights, and listen for noises when power is applied. These can help when looking for issues, and can help a technician understand a problem over the phone.
Third look for any damage on the equipment, or anything that seems off, misaligned connectors from bumping the copier may be all it is.
