You should check to insure that the tank inside the machine is full of water. Pour in 1 pot of water at a time until you get water to come out of the brew basket. If you haven't done any internal damage it should be ready to brew a pot of coffee inabout 20 minutes.

More than likely a thermal fuse opened ( or both of them opened).

I purchased a special flow restrictor sprayhead from BunnAtHome.com because I use decaf coffee. Also if you use a finer grind then you need this to slow the water so it doesn't overflow.

If you pour water into the machine, and water comes out, then the reservoir is full of water. There is no way the water can bypass the reservoir and go directly into the pot.

I would check your electrical supply. Plug in a hair dryer where the coffeemaker was plugged in and see if it works. If it doesn't there is probably nothing wrong with the coffeemaker.

water tank inlet in the top possibly limed up causing pan to overflow. remove top, use screwdriver or deliming spring to poke through the drain nut in the pan. should work fine now

Take top off by unpluging machine then removing the 2 screws where you add water.
Pry lid off ( where you pour water with a knife)
Remove 4 screws that hold top on.
Check this tank for leaks at sink.
inspect rest of plumbing and look at the brass pipe that goes into the tank and has 2 wires into it. The gasket / and washer here might be eroded or damaged.
possible to fix if you get the right parts.

Time to buy new one , It is not worth repairing , unless it has still waranty .

My bunn coffer maker is the one that keeps water hot all the time. I was going away and shut my coffee maker off. 'When I came home I then had to start over like when it was new. I follow the directions and the ater never heated up.
