20 Most Recent Bunn BT10B Coffee Maker Questions & Answers

Sadly, I have about 10 people who have this coffee maker. It is a wonderful little coffee maker and is very delicate.

the worst problem all the people here say is the lid leaks like a waterfall or it leaks by dripping non stop while pouring.

I had to call Bunn, who made this machine, and they have yet to figure out a solution to this problem other than having people who own this machine buy a whole new carafe with new seals.

You might try your local applianace repair store. Sometimes their engineers are smart guys who knows exactly what seals will work or where to get the parts you need better than the actual manufacter.

If the fuse inline in the wire(s) to the heating element, simply cut off the old fuse, strip back the wires a little and insert a new thermal fuse using either but crimp terminals or screw terminal strips.

You can verify whether there are screws in the holes, by using a bright light for illumination and peering inside. If there are phillips head screws in the holes, you may need to use a metric screwdriver to remove them. The cross slots may require this.

Here is the SOLUTION(S):
1. Buy a sprayhead that restricts the flow2. Let the water flow through for a few minutes, then lift the lid while it flows through.3. Don't use Decaf4. Plug up a couple holes on your current spray head

Yes, you can get a washer from your local Bunn repair shop. For a list of repair facilities in your area, go to www.bunn.com And yes, the heat is a problem, so you can't use just any washer.

I dismantled it and scraped out the buildup your ring that seals the canister will be useless. Let me find the link to the company that sold me a replacement. Bunn will not sell you this as it breaks their UL listing to replace it yourself.
