Disconnect the printer and delete all the files that are present in the printer temporary folder . This will disable all future printing of the present documents.

Go to control panel, printers. Right mouse click the printer you want to set and click set as default.

Normally this can be the reason what is known as Carriage Friction. Try to put a little oil on the steel rod and also do make sure if the carriage movement is smooth and nothing effecting its movement.

The print command is in que. You have to cancel it. The printer icon in task bar. Click it. when it opens you will see all the print commands. select eveny one and cancel from menu.

Access the manufacturer's web-site: http://support.hp.com
Enter '845c' and do the search.
Select "Windows 7".
Select "Download device-drivers".
Download.
Install.
Print a test-page.

ink cartridge is damaged

Hi,

Your issue is more likely a communication problem between the printer and computer. Here are some basic steps that we can try to resolve the issue.
-we can try to turn off the computer and the printer, try to replug the printer or better yet try a different USB port if the printer is using USB. Then try to reprint your file again.
-try printing different file as well.
-try another program for example if your using ms word, try using wordpad or open office programs.
-If still the same try another USB cable and try to reinstall the printer driver.
- if you want to reinstall the printer driver you can download the driver from this link. Make sure that you choose the correct operating system so we wont encounter more errors.

perform head cleaning in the driver properties,or your catridge is out dated!!!

(driver properties-service-clean head)

Open printer door, remove cartridges one at a time to see if that clears the error. Also power cycle the printer to see if the blinking changes.

Try to reset it. Hold down the on button and push the resume button 4 times. That should zero everything.
