KitchenAid Kitchen Aid K45SSWH Classic Tilt-Head Stand Mixer Questions & Answers
How to use food grinder attachment
The mixer's planetary is not disconnected when the meat grinder is attached and continues to turn.
If the noise you hear only occurs when the grinder is in place, then the grinder may be assumed to be the cause. Consult the meat grinder's instructions and make sure that nothing is loose or overtightened.
The gears will not work. It will not turn on
There are three springs which can be seen when the back cover is removed. Two are behind the black control plate (the pair of screws at the top of the plate are tensioned by these screws) and another spring that pulls on the bottom of the control plate (this one comes from deep inside the motor housing).
The following link will take you to a copy of the KitchenAid Service Manual which will help you identify the springs and, I hope, the problem.

I do not know why you would which to remove the motor. I do not recommend it. The motor is connected to a transmission in the front of the mixer and was most likely pressed in to place by a machine into a baring in the back of the transmission. As far as I can tell the only user serviceable parts are in the back. Primarily the bushings and the back service cover.
To remove the windings you will need a puller. You might be able to find one at your local auto parts store, or one of the stores that specializes in tools such as Harbor Fright, Northern Tool or something like that. Once you remove the back cover you should see the armature, simply attache the puller to the shaft and extract it. If you are lucky you will be able to reinsert it in the opposite order. However, there is a chance that parts of the transmission will fall out of place making it difficult to reassemble.
I am pretty sure you can disassemble it, but putting it back together will be much more challenging.
If you are having trouble with a switch or the bushings I would call Kitchen Aid first.

Can I use lucas oil white lithium in my stand mixer
They do not use oil at all, they use food grade grease. Any oil that is dripping out is the liquids separating out from the solids in the grease. You either need to open it up and stir the grease u again or remove the old grease completely and repack it with new stuff.
How to I install a cotter pin that came out?
Are you are referring to the pivot pin that joins the mixer head to the stand?
If so, it can be slid in place after you turn the whole mixer on its side and look up the underside of the stand. There is a screw which locks the pin in place. Loosen the screw and the pin will go into place. Tighten the screw afterwards.
Kitchen Air Mixer will not come on
The easiest thing to check is the brushes. Unscrew each black (sometimes white) round cover on either side of the motor housing and see that there is enough carbon brush remaining.
Since the brushes were most likely ok, then I would suspect the solid-state control phase board. These are pretty easy to replace. You can find the service manual for your model on line.
KitchenAid Professional 5 Quart stand mixer grain mill won't grind?
From what I know about these and industrial Hobart mixers is that where drive gears are on a shaft they are held by a shear pin that goes right through the gear and the shaft. They are made to shear if the grinder or planetary head is strained. It shears the pin instead of damaging the motor or shredding gears. When they do shear, there is often enough friction to turn the attachment, but not enough force under load. I see two shear pins in this diagram 19/8 and part 14/8. The diagram also show the orientation of bevel gears.

How to convert kitchenaid mixer from 220v to 110v
It's perfectly save to use a power converter from 220v to 110V. The 50Hz Frequenz will let the Motor spin 20% slower. So it'll last forever. I use a KSM90 from the US in Germany for more than 25 years. It runs great and the gears inside it look like new.
