Electronic ignitor on propane stove wont start
- Close all valves, including the one on the supply tank.
- Open valves SLOWLY starting with the tank. Safety valves are built in to prevent escape og gas if vales are broken off.
- Turn on ONE burner valve and, depening on the ignition type of your stove, light it. (some have an electric spark generated by a power outlet (120v) and make a sort of poping sound, some have a spark generated by a push button type mechanism.
- Once one burner lights, the others should light easily. Sometimes air gets in the lines, and this may have to bleed off, but it should only take a few seconds. -PS, make sure the stove is level, since gas tends to flow to the high spot.

Hello Anonymous, that's a great question!
In order to provide you the correct cleaning instructions for your Frigidaire range, I would need your model number please. The serial tag, which lists your model number, is normally located in the storage drawer, on the right side. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. - Z
Electric range
Good Morning Kent, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
Typically error code F1 on your Frigidaire appliance indicates that your range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). One of the best ways to determine if this is a false error code is to reset the power to your appliance by either unplugging it or flipping off the breaker for about 30 seconds. If the error code persists, at this moment I would suggest connecting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the EOC (Electronic Oven Control) or RTD Probe (Resistance Temperature Detector) will need replacing. I hope this information helps to some degree.
Bad Electric Cooktop Dual Element Switch
Our Frigidaire Gallery electric cooktop dual burner would not work when either the single or double mode was selected. I did not have the electrical schematic available to use for troubleshooting the switch and initially was not certain if the switch or heating element was bad.
In thinking about the situation, I deduced that the problem was most likely the switch being bad as it was highly unlikely that both elements of the dual element burner would be bad at the same time. I ordered a new switch, received it a few days later, and replaced it in about 25 minutes. Upon turning power to the cooktop on and trying the new switch, both elements of the burner worked as expected.
Our Frigidaire Gallery induction cooktop is 'locked'. How to unlock?
Press and hold the keypad with the padlock icon until you hear a beep. This should be about 3 seconds. This will toggle the lock on and off. I used the documentation for the Frigidaire FGIC3067MB to check this. On this model, the lock keypad is to the left of the Keep Warm keypad. https://www.frigidaire.com/Kitchen-Appliances/Cooktops/Induction-Cooktops/FGIC3067MB/ . The manual is here: http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Lassomption/318205604en.pdf . The control panel is shown on page 5 and the lock function is shown on pages 6 and 9.
I hope this helps.

Burner won't turn off. stays in simmer mode
Good Afternoon Judy, thanks for your post!
From what you have described the burner on your Frigidaire cooktop will not shut down and continues to run in simmer mode. I would suggest performing a reset on your cooktop and you can do that by disconnecting power from your cooktop for at least ten minutes. If that does not help alleviate your situation you may need to have a burner switch or control panel replaced and that is not a simple DIY job. If any electrical components need to be replaced I would recommend contacting a professional technician for proper repairs to be completed. This will help you avoid any unnecessary part purchases. I hope this information is helpful. -OOS
