there is a mechanical reed switch that makes contact when the paper is feed into the printer that sends data to the microprocessor that in turn will turn the feed motor once you hit print,it also lets the printer know whether your out of paper,whats happens is that the switch can sometimes can out of it holder assy and might be in there just dangling in the wind,if thats not the issue then check your manufacturers website for any updates to that product.if that isnt the issue then you will have to take it to a service center /repair shop-good luck

Honestly?You can throw the printer away and buy a new one as it will be cheaper and easier on the pocket!!!

The ink pad absorbers are full and need to be cleaned, take the top off, near the printer you will see a rectangular well with white ink pads covered in parts with ink. The pads need to be removed and put under running cold water for several minutes, next let them dry overnight on paper towels. When dry, carefully install the pads back in the well.

fail to switchon two possible cause:

1. prinhead is defective
2. power supply is defective

remove the printhead if the printer power on properly you need to change your printhead, if still the same issue you have to replace the power supply board, so service is required.

Hi there! Follow those steps: i250, i350 and i000 series

1: Unplug power and USB
2: Open door and hold power button.
3: Connect power.
4: Close door, then release power button
5: Connect USB and an press power to use.
This method will work only whilst the printer's connected to power. Turning off and on at the switch will keep it, but unplugging it from the power will reset it, which means you'll have to do this again: What this does is temporarily reset the printer, but also stops it from doing headcleans everytime you open the door to switch print heads or ink tanks.

Try to go to the setup for your printer then troubleshoot tab. There you could setup for cleaning the print heads and also the alignments.

Go into your printers properties and do a nozzle check. To do this follow the following steps.

***Click "START"

***Go to "Printers and Faxes"

***Within this new window "right click" your printer and select "properties"

***You will now see a bunch of tabs at the top click on the one that says "maintenance"

*** then click on "Nozzle check" this will pop up a box that will give you 3 options.

***click on "Print check pattern" this will do a print out and if the grids show missing lines then you will need to do a printhead cleaning.

*** click the option that that says cleaning. Your printer will then clean the printheads and once its done it should ask you if you want to do another pattern test. Run it and see if things change.

If they dont then you will need to do another printhead cleaning. If the nozzle check printout doesnt get any better you might need to replace the cartridge or cartridges.

1. Download service program of General Tool for your printer model

2. Disconnect the power cord.
3. Hold down the power button, connect the power cord, double-click «Resume», and release both buttons. The printer is blinking green light and enter the service mode.
4. Connect the USB cable
5. Start the General Tool.
6. In the upper right corner of the window to select the printer port - box «USB PORT»
7. In the program window on the left, click on the button «DEVICE ID». To the right of the button should appear information about the connected printer (printer model, etc.)
8. In the program window that appears over the information, click the button «EEP-ROM INFORMATION». A new window appears, which will be shown the information stored in memory, check the value of «D» - the state of the counter (usually more than 100%) and close the window.
9. Under the window «USB PORT» small square window «EEPROM CLEAR», put a check mark in it.
10. Insert the printer sheet of paper and click the button «TEST PATTERN» (1 or 2 - does not matter). The printer prints a test page (in the printing process will be reset counter diapers) for i320, paragraph 10 to two times (ie, when the printer prints the first sheet, insert the printer has a sheet of paper, and again click the button «TEST PATTERN»)
11. Repeat step 8 (check the value of «D» - status counter should be 0%).

It goes to damage Ink absorber .Many ink absorb this pad.You must be reset it self or any workshop.if itself
