Unlock tv menu
Turn
on the TV and grab the remote. In most cases, you will need the original remote
to unlock the TV if you aren't sure of the unlock code. If you don't have the
original remote, you will need to purchase one.
Look
at the screen. If you see a blank screen with a red key on the bottom of the
screen, press 'Function' and 'Mute' at the same time. This should unlock the
channel. This is an option for people who want the TV to stay locked but, want
to be able to bypass the lock to watch a certain show or channel. All other
channels will remain locked and the TV will fully lock when it is turned off.
Unlock
all of the channels on the TV by entering the factory reset code. There are
three main reset codes that TV manufacturers set. These are 0711, 6688 and
3308. Try each one until you find the one that works. This will reset the TV to
original factory settings. When you do this, you will loose any information
that you have stored in the TV, such as favorite channels, automatic timers and
the clock. You will have to go through the full initial set up.
Call
the technical support service number in your owner's manual if none of those
codes work. A technician can help you troubleshoot the television because the
problem may not be the locking control. When you call, make sure that you have
the model number and serial number of the TV.
My TV fell off the wall mount, hit the floor and will no power on?
There's only one solution to this and that is to look inside and see what was damaged. It clearly will be physical damage and not some faulty parts. It might be something simple like a broken wire or damged circuit board that might just need soldering. The worse thing will be damage to the the LCD display. But if it looks good from the front you might be OK there. If the LCD has gone then it will be cheaper to buy a new TV. I don't think it will be covered by the maker's gurantee - read the small print!!!

Cannot scan for channels on remote
The remote model number doesn't help directly. This remote controls several Sanyo TVs including the DP46142 and DP32242. Manuals Lib has the owner's manual (copyright 2012) here:
https://www.manualslib.com/products/Sanyo-Dp46142-77711.html . Press Menu (below and to the left of the arrow keys). Select Setup (the icon that looks like a satellite dish) using the left/right arrows. Press the down arrow and go to ANT/Cable setup. Press OK (in the center of the arrow keys). Use the left/right arrow keys to make sure that the Ant In line is set to Antenna. Press OK. Go down to Auto Setup and press OK. Choose from All Channels, Analog Channels and Digital Channels and press OK again. Select Apply and press OK when the scan is finished. (All channels and Digital Channels will work the same way since most analog channels are no longer broadcasting.) See
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/306779/Sanyo-Dp32242.html?page=22#manual . Note: digital channels will not display if the signal strength is low. You may need a different antenna or a different antenna placement. See antennaweb.org or tvfool.com for suggested station transmitters.
I hope this helps.

(note: the physical buttons on the TV should work to navigate the menu. Use the channel buttons for Up/Down and volume for left right. The OK button is the Input button.)
Sanyo amp stuck in standby mode can I pull it out this mode
When in the standby mode the 3 or 5 volt standby voltage is present for the main cpu IC to "wake up" the power supply, and put it to work, this is a signal that is introduced to the power supply when the on button is pressed, or a command from the remote, also if some components are defective and drawing to much current it won't come out of standby as well, this will require some electrical engineering skills to troubleshoot the amp, I suggest you take it somewhere to have it serviced unless you have the knowledge and test gear to fix it yourself.
Sanyo DP22640 television that has shrunk on both sides?
If you have already tried replacing the mainboard and it did not fix the issue, then the problem may not be related to the board. Here are a few other potential causes for a TV screen to shrink on both sides:
- Picture settings: Check your TV's picture settings to ensure that the aspect ratio is set correctly. If the aspect ratio is set to "zoom" or "wide," it can cause the picture to appear smaller on both sides.
- Overscan: Some TVs have a feature called "overscan" that can cause the edges of the picture to be cut off. Check your TV's settings to see if there is an overscan option, and if so, turn it off.
- Defective panel: If neither of the above solutions works, it's possible that the issue is with the TV's panel itself. In this case, you may need to have the TV professionally serviced or replaced.
It's also worth noting that shrinking on both sides can sometimes be a normal behavior for certain types of content, such as older movies or TV shows that were originally shot in a different aspect ratio. In this case, the content may simply be displaying as intended.
No power on Sanyo DP50E44 TV
There is a main fuse inside the TV on the main power board you can check. However, usually when a fuse blows, it means there is something shorted. If it just blew from a surge, you may get lucky by replacing it with the exact the same rated fuse.
