Vga controler

Want to make sure your drivers are in place and no errors have occurred? Simply click start right click on my computer select properties then select device manager scroll to Display Adapters and click on the small + you should see the model of your PCI Express graphic card there. If there is a problem with it, a yellow exclamation mark should appear besides it. If you don't see it everything is OK and your card is working properly.

If your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it

Click start control panel administration tools tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question exclamation mark ? mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers

if you dont have a disk with the drivers you have to download themHope this helps

I was given this board,

First of, download this manual (click here), it's a pdf file, it'll open up on your browser (Internet explorer or you can read the contents on your computer, to open the file on your computer, you'll need a pdf reader, if you haven't already installed a pdf reader, click here to download Adobe Reader) open the manual and scroll down to Page No. 33, there, you'll see some labelled connectors, "C" is the front panel connector where you are going to plug in the power switch, reset switch etc... Note the number 1-9 and refer the connections on Page No. 35, it should connect like this :
nonontech_6.jpg

Upper : PLED = Power Led and PWR + GND = power switch
Bottom : HDLED = Hard Disk Led and Ground+Reset=Reset switch

You also need to note that there are two Power Connectors (from SMPS), one with 4 pins/plugs and another 20 pins/plugs. Both of them should be connected, otherwise it'll never boot up even though all other connections are correct and all other components are working.

Let me know if you have problem.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.
