Hotpoint dryer beeping

Do u want to resolve the f-13 fault code ON HOTPOINT WD860 Ultima Fix the fault . It is a tricky job but the heater thermostat switch has tripped as it senses something burning. Probably a little bit of fluff on the heater element inside the heater unit.. There are 2 switches on top of this heater unit. One where the 2 blue wires go on the top left of the 3rd picture and the other which has a tall black wire connector on shown in the middle of the 3rd picture. Remove that connector and undo the holding screw . You can then reset the switch. The switch is a small circular switch hidden beneather the connector on the photos. This thermostat switch has a yellow. red dot ontop of it. If you use a small pin or needle and press into that dot you will hear it tick back into place. you have reset the switch now. You will probably need to clean the inside of the heater element unit to get rid of the fluff particles or it will keep switching off. To take this apart you will need a set of Star screwdrivers. Its a bit tricky but you will be able to undo the star screws and take them all out. I will add some photos to show you the unit apart. You can see the build up of fluff on the photos i have added from my hotpoint WD860 heater unit. This is a tricky job and takes about an hour due to the screw being awkward to take off and put on again but mine hasnt faulted for 2 years since sorting it out. You can buy a new Thermostat switch which is about 10 pounds sterling from Hotpoint or other spares stores. hotpoint-dryer-beeping-brswrwcy453xu5qdcnkktuei-3-0.jpg hotpoint-dryer-beeping-brswrwcy453xu5qdcnkktuei-3-2.jpg

Change heater element on hotpoint TVF770K Aquarius dryer now have F13 fault

There is a small thermostat button ontop of the Heater mechanism which has tripped . It has either a red dot or blue dot ontop. Use a pin or opened up paper clip and push through the red wax. It will go click and it is reset. . It sometimes trips out with a F code which normally trips the machine off because it thinks the Heater unit is on fire. There is a small disk which costs about £15 to buy which you can change. You will need HEX screwdriver set to change and open up the Heater matrix to clean the fluff off the element.

The tumble dryer just keeps going and doesn't

Find the sensor, near the tub, and see if a wire has not just simply fallen off or is touching another wire that is bare. It is common, but very frustrating.kindly,Jim

My Hotpoint tvf770 starts but does not appear to

Suspect a broken/burned off wire to the heater element, or 'open circuit' of the heater element, or thermostat fault

It is best to leave the plug on the power cable as if there is an issue, it can be isolated from power without delay.

Hotpoint Aquarius dishwasher DWF34S/42 no power - possible fuse blown

Based on your description, it sounds like there was a short circuit in the dishwasher which caused the fuse to blow and the burning smell. It is possible that the burnt connection you are seeing is related to the short circuit. If you have experience with electrical repairs, you can try to identify and replace the burnt connection. However, if you are not comfortable with electrical work, it is recommended that you seek the assistance of a qualified technician to avoid any potential safety hazards. In any case, before attempting any repairs, make sure that the dishwasher is disconnected from the power source and that all safety precautions are taken.

Hotpoint CTD80 Clothes Dryer. Shows no error codes but high heat not working. Stats seem fine?

Question edited to add Maker. Question moved to Hotpoint. Most dryers have 2 elements, one for low, and one for medium. High heat is both elements together. My guess is that your medium element has failed and you are only getting low heat. Test with a multimeter or call for service. https://www.google.com/search?q=Hotpoint+Ctd+80+P+tumble+dryer+parts ..

My Hotpoint dryer, tumbler stopped working and start button wont stay on when I push to start? Is this the starter button?

It might be the start button not making contact or it could be the control board. It depends on the model, Hotpoint has made a few in the last 50 years. Whip your multimeter out and check the switch for continuity.

The drum wont spin on my Hotpoint CTD00 dryer

Remove top cover, and see if the belt is intact, if it is then it could be the motor is not working for one reason or another, this would entail further investigation.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
