Right click and uninstall device...however do not "remove software". Let Windows reinitialize the hardware and reinstall. It's also possible your hardware may have some additional chipset drivers that need to be installed to work correctly. Download the Intel chipset installer from your PC's manufacturer support page. This most likely just OS issue if it's just an isolated event. However if you have intermittent odd errors like this all over the place then there could be a deeper issue like HDD causing corruption.
