How do I use a lexar hardrive on my ps3

Just plug it in. If it's not recognized, you may have to format it in a computer to FAT32. Make sure you back up any data on it before you reformat it.

Saving a web page into a lexar jump drive.

To save a web page in Internet Explorer, go to that page and click File, then "Save As." In the box that pops up, use the My Computer link on the left to navigate to where your jump drive is, or click the down arrow next to the current folder at the top of the box. Once you've gotten to your jump drive and selected it, click the drop down box next to "Save as type" at the bottom of the box and choose "Webpage, complete." Then click Save.

To save a web page in Firefox, go to the page you want to save, and under the File menu, choose "Save Page As." When the dialog box comes up, click My Computer on the left, or click the arrow at the top next to the current folder, and navigate to your jump drive. "Web page, complete" should be the default selection for "Save as type" -- if it's not, select it from the drop down box. Then click Save.

Web pages typically save as many files within a folder, so if you accidentally delete or move any of those files, reloading the web page might not work.

I formated my system with the flash drive in it

the problem is the Operating System is trying to assign the flash drive a drive-letter that is already assigned. For example it is trying to assign the drive-letter "D" which is already your cd drive. If you right click on the "My Computer" icon and select "Manage" then select "Disk Managment" you can change the assigned drive letter of the flash drive to a un used drive letter. Once you do this the Operating System should be able to see and use the flash drive.

Flash drives are not working but other usb devices are working

Go to my computer and open it, and you should see the Flash Drive. Right click on it, and from the dropdown menu select format. (It will be FAT 32)
As I am not familiar with your exact make of drive, check that if it has a tiny slide protect switch on the side. If it has, try formatting it, if it won't, push the switch forward or back and it should then format.
As you do not give details of your computer, I cannot give further instruction for a your Operating system. If it's XP the drive should be recognised automatically, but if its Win98, it will need you to install the driver you got with it on the CD supplied..

I think there is a virus that has disabled your pen drive please follow these steps to try and remove that disability for the pen drive.

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
3. Locate, and then click the following registry key:

Lexar memory stick

Hello,
This device should be plugged into any computer that has USB ports to plug into. Usually, you plug it in and you will see something pop up in the bottom right corner of the screen about installing usb drive. When it is done installing (usually takes about 1 minute), you can open My Computer and see it in there as a removable drive. Open it and save your files directly in there by copy and paste or drag and drop.

Thanks,
Lolita

Adding files to a lexar 2 gb drive

Download a (free) download manager like this:
http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/

Once it is installed, use the "HTLM spider" tab to download the website (just go to the website then click the blue + button.)

Once the website is downloaded, copy it to your flashdrive.

If you have any trouble using the free downloader, post back here.

How can i recover my files from my usb flash drive?

It's possible that you are still suffering from the effects of the virus. You can try to download a (free) program called "Restoration" and run it. Here's the link:
http://www.download.com/Restoration/3000-2094_4-10322950.html

If you manage to recover your files, I would recommend that you re-format the flashdrive to make sure that you are getting rid of the virus, then re-install your flashdrive software if you use it.
