Have you paid your bill? A lot of companies will restrict cell usage to only text for a few days if the bill is late. If your not behind I wouls chalk it up to a tower error. Especially with the weather lately. I am experiencing cell issues here in GA as well. Oh. Straightalk, eh. Never heard of them, but I bet consumer groups have. Your state's Dept. of Consumer Affairs may be able to help. Get a trusted IP, usually one of the major ones. they will help you get plan you can afford. I'm retired, disabled and really poor now. they were great about helping me and I'm even happier now that the bill I got today is $40/mo. less than the last bill. You get what you pay for. I'd report them and switch. Hope they didn't take you for too much.

i had same problem i had to call STalk coustomer service from landlind and they walked me through it u can also go to www.straighttalk.com and they help

I'd call the website, change you data plan, or buy a new phone altogether.
