You likely did not do all the steps required to fix it. If you bought a complete repair kit from sites such as Tv Repair Ktis go back and ask them for help. If you did not get one of their kits you can still purchase just the convergence repair instructions.

Look for the large metal heatsinks..this is the board...usually on the right...

If your TV looks 3D or warped your convergence has gone out. You will need to call in a shop or get a DIY convergence repair kit from www.TvRepairKits.com to fix it.

Replace the two STK-392-110 OR 150 CHIPS IT USES AND ADJUST SET IN DECAM MODE

there is a button on front of set--may be tiny and recessed--that only adjusts convergence at 16 points--make sure no direct light on screen when doing that as it will misconverge the set.What is the issue?

If model is correct here, a few questions:If you have sound or not?if on screen display shows or not?if power light goes off when set turned off?The set is prone to a few odd issues as well as some common ones.If you follow power cord inside (ought to go to board mounted on right side wall) there are at least 3 black power relays on that board that are known to stick either open or closed---tapping on them will sometimes cause them to function again for a while---ie if power light does not go out etc.If you have sound the set will be likely turning off or blanking all three picture tubes for a reason= no vertical sweep or horizontal sweep as that would instantly burn a mark on all three tubes--check the possible relay issue and let me know answers to the questions I have asked above.I have worked on a lot of this model set and am familiar with it.

If it was transported likely the set was damaged--one of the three picture tubes used could have been damaged--the flashing light is the set trying to come on and the buzzing is related to whatever is bad.It needs to be opened and inspected.

You could replace C603 first and if this doe not do it then S901 maybe bad.

Did u check the pico fuse and all those resistors on the tv convergence board to make sure with ones are good resistors which are not good resistors and replace all them resistors too?U didn't do that should get it tested and replaces all those dying resitors.Try website like Tvrepairworld.com look up ur Hitachi tv model what resistors and pico fuse u require to check.

No, there no other adjustments that can be made, the TV has had a Convergence Circuit Failure. The "CCF" is caused by that circuit, please call an Authorized Service Center and get an estimate. The avg cost is about $550.00. Good Luck, big IRISH.

I will presume a few things: 1. you have tried it via the coax or cable fittings and also rear audio and video inputs.2. speakers (in the menu) are not turned off.3. if you are using a cable or sat box you have hooked something direct to the set for sound.If this is a 2001 or 2002 model there may be another issue.confirm the date of production and I may be able to tell you exactly what is wrong (date is on back of set).Steve------aka SD TECH

Sir the problem of your tv is just a cold solder or loosed connection, try to tap the side of your unit it will react. If you are handy in electronics you can repair it by your self using a soldering iron, soldering lead and desoldering pump. If you remove the back cover of your unit be to unplug your tv to main ac outlet. then pull out the main board be careful when removing the main board some connectors may accidentally remove try to put some marking to the connectors. It is much better if you have a magnifying glass to easily identify the loosed or cold solder. When resoldering be sure not to connect separated pin if accidentally solder or joined together it may cause much problem to the unit. Or you can contact a service technician to do it for you and save you from stress good day and best regards.

More than likely the main lighting element in the TV is going bad (AKA a big lightbulb) This will need to be replaced.

Your convergence has failed and needs to be repaired. Once quick test is to goto your convergence menu and see if you can adjust red and blue. If not its has failed and needs to be fixed. You can call in a repair shop or you can get the parts and instructions from www.TvRepairKits.com and do the repair yourself. Its a fairly easy DIY fix.

The convergence ic may be damage try to check the resistance of ic pin if their is a shorted, you can compare the resistance to other convergence ic. it is attached to a large aluminum plate and has a marking of stk-****followed by a number. but be sure to unplug your tv before doing this.

These DLP tvs was produced from 200-2004 was out of productions.First introduced into the maket was $1,300 dollars.

I am going to tell you a simple thing to do to know what your problem may be.

With the set on turn the color all the way to zero. Go to a channel if you can that is in black and white. What color is the screen?

If the answer is that it is blue in the background whoever serviced the set did not and could have removed front speaker grill and inspection plate behind it; there is a black plastic block with three screen controls (red,green,blue) and 3 focus controls (do not touch the focus ones.)

I suspect if the blue screen is there a slight adjustment of the blue screen down will correct this.

The picture with the color at zero should be black and white or gray. If blue is background color it will also be with color.

This is called gray scale; picture with color off has to be gray or black and white.
