We are unable to turn
This is set on the buttons for the phone from within the system programming. Individual buttons can be set to NO Ring, Ring, Ring Continuous, Delay Ring, or Delay Ring Continuous.
Continuous meaning that even if you are on the phone, it will ring audibly on your phone. If it's not set to continuous, it will only give a blip.
You should contact your vendor for assistance in setting this up.

I believe that another user has called you and while the phone was ringing, they pressed the message button - and set the lamp.
With the handset still on the cradle, press the message button... read the display. Follow the prompts to cancel or call the message sender.
OR
Pick up the handset, and press the message button. It should call the extension that set the lamp.
The code you refer to is not a standard code. Each vendor or installation is different and the codes can be set how the vendor or site wants them. If the above doesn't work, I suggest you contact the vendor for this info. Or if you have system access, log into the system and find the form Feature Access Codes. Look for the Lamp off code. Dial that code followed by your extension number.
I was using Mitel phone,
log into the phone system and remove the MAC address from the old extension. Add the MAC address to the new extension or PIN it after it boots up.

You need to know the Voicemail access code... I generally set this up as 77, but other installers will set it with a different number. This will be the same number that others in your office dials to reach Voicemail when they have a message.
Your mailbox will also need to be created in the Voicemail system. When you call into it, it should recognize you and prompt you for a passcode. The Mitel Embedded Voicemail system default passcode is 1111. You will be prompted to set up the mailbox and change the passcode.
If this doesn't help, contact your site administrator or vendor.
Plantronics cs60 cordless headset not
I'm sorry for being long on my answer here...
The bad thing here is that the CS60 is not a Mitel approved/supported
headset. The only headsets that are approved for Mitel Superset or
Mitel IP telephones are the Plantronics Polaris model.
BUT many other headsets do work with Mitel telephones. Since they are not "supported" by Mitel, you should contact the headset manufacturer for configuration guidance. Some have dip switches, or dials that need to be in certain positions to work with certain telephone models. This can be different from one phone to another.
Plantronics web site and their support people should be able to guide
you to configuring this headset properly for each model phone.
How is the headset and handset connected? It sounds like the CS60 is connected to the handset port of the phone and the handset is connected to the CS60. When you go off hook with the handset, it sends the signal to the CS60 and depending on the switch on the CS60, it will send the signal to either the handset or the headset.
OR
The CS60 is connected to the handset port and the handset is connected to the headset port. To make the headset port work, you must have the CS60 connected to the headset port and the handset connected to the handset port. Set the phone to Headset mode.

What routers work with th Mitel 5220 phone
It really depends on what you are trying to do. The phone is technically capable of being used with every Router.
Normally though, the Phone won't need a router to connect to the phone system.
Dhcp: Discovery Option 128 missing.
Option 128 tells the phone where the phone system is. A linksys router isn't capable of giving this option out. Where is the telephone system? Is this a teleworker phone? if TW phone, press and hold the 7 key while booting the phone, and type the teleworker server IP address.
I recommend you contact your administrator or system vendor for guidance.

I had this problem as well. This is a configuration that needs to be added to your DHCP server to enable the mitel system to obtain an iP address. If you reboot the phone and hold the down arrow it should bring you to a screen you can manually enter the IP address of the network you are useing.
How do I access my

Hello, I'm trying to increase
The ADA compliance requires that the phone when set to the highest volume level will revert back to factory default setting for the next call. This is a safety feature to prevent one's hearing aid from being blown up by a loud caller.
If you turn the volume up to 9, and leave it there, it will stay at 9. If you turn it up to 10, it will always revert back to default.
I hope this helps,
Mark
Hi,
At the office we have
I'm not finding manufacturer detail on this headset, only sales via Amazon, and it's dicey info at that. So,I'm not certain this headset is compatible. The only Mitel approved headsets are the Plantronics Polaris models. These headsets fit into the headset port. Such headsets require a headset button to be programmed and enabled on the phone to work. When the phone rings, you will have to press the ringing button, to hang up, you will have to press the cancel button.Other headset models may work, but require them to be plugged into the handset port and the existing handset will have to be plugged into it's unit. Such units will require lifting the handset to answer the call and hang it up when completed. Some such units have an optional lift kit.I personally use a Plantronics Polaris "in the ear" model. Plantronics web site has a config guide that will help you select a headset.

What does "Option 128 Missing" on the Mitel 5330
It means either that Option 128 is missing in your DHCP server or you are pulling the correct IP address (maybe incorrect VLAN). If you log in to the PBX and click the Help, just do a search on DHCP and it will explain this in further detail.
