You need a program called mitel db programming.You will need to know the system IP address and the usernam and password.Once on you can reprogramme any extension, as well as many other things.

the envelope button only works when it is flashing. Need to dial the voicemail or if there is a key programmed on the phone that rings voicemail.

To Restore Factory Default Settings:
1. Press both Up and Down Arrow keys simultaneously while powering up the
phone. NETWORK SETTINGS? appears
2. Press NO until TOOLS & FEATURES appears and then press YES.
3. Press NO until RESTORE DEFAULTS? appears and then press YES.
4. Press CONFIRM. The phone resets with default settings.

This is the option in the DHCP Server to instruct the phone what the Control Unit ip address is so the firmware can be updated/checked. to resolve this you will need to add the option in the DHCP server

Is the phone in a ACD? I'm guessing it also has a broken dial tone? We had this problem and found that the phone was part of an ACD but wasn't logged in, causing a call forward to kick in. We had to dial *81 on the phone to clear the phone settings (it will be different for you no doubt so check the Feature Access Code Assignment.

Failing this, I would suggest you take the persons telephone line out of the system entirely, clear voicemail, clear the extension number and clear its IP registration etc and then start afresh; this has worked for us in the past too.

I don't believe the SX20 can be set up for these additional numbers. The SX20 has been unsupported for over 20 years. Most vendors have stopped help on them. You really should get a new system.

It really depends on how many trunks you have, how many people you have and how efficient they are. It also depends on the system you have, not necessarily the phone the users are using.
You should contact your vendor for helping set up the most efficient method of setting up call handling.

It's not intended to be connected to a home computer. This phone is a business telephone.

Contact your system administrator or system vendor and have the time on the phone system adjusted. Time is a system wide setting. The newest version of the 3300ICP/MCD allows the time to automatically adjust - you should get the system upgraded.

The time is set within the phone system, not on the telephone. Contact your vendor for this change.

This phone is intended to be set up in a corporate environment or as a Teleworker phone. This phone won't work in a home environment.

Log into your mailbox. Press U for user options, and G for greeting... follow the prompts for changing it.

My assumption is that your DHCP server isn't set up properly, or that someone has connected a Router to your network.
I suggest you contact your system administrator or vendor for further assistance.
