Toro 42 In Deck 19 Hp Kohler Courage Twin Cam Zero Turn Mower - Page 6 Questions & Answers
I have a Z4235 22hp
make sure you dont have a bent blade.if not check the mandrel housing and level the deck
Engine runs great for 10 minutes and then stalls.
Believe
it or not, your gas cap is clogged up with dirt and debris. When a
carburetor is unable to get a constant flow of air from outside,
pressure builds up on the fuel tank. The fastest way to determine
whether or not this is the problem is as follows.
As you are
using your Mower, at that point when it begins to stall out, loosen
the gas cap so that you release the pressure that is built up in the gas
tank. If the engine begins to regain power, then you know it is a
clogged gas cap. (Simply get a small wire and clear the breathe holes in
the cap.) If the engine dies even after loosening the gas cap, then you
may want to check to make sure the air breather is clean. ( A dirty air
breather can cause the engine to over heat and stall out.)
If none of this seems to help, then it is probably a bad Ignition Coil.
Good Luck!

My z2400 stopped moving all
did you burn out the pto? try ingaging it at a lower idle speed and see if it will work if not could be a wiring issue
also if it wiring a wiring diagram and a test light are needed. If you don't have the wiring diagram, use a test light, start at the clutch and work your way back checking for current at each switch/connector. It maybe the ignition switch, there should be one terminal on it that feeds 12v to the clutch curcuit.
could be your ignition switch but thats the best way to find out where its not getting power to.
Just replaced pto clutch brand new ,wont
Check that you are getting voltage to the wires that connect to the clutch when you switch on the pto. If not check that you are getting voltage to the pto switch. If you are the pto switch is faulty. Regards Phil

That unit has a fuel solenoid that is attached to the carburetor bowl. Over time this solenoid can act up at odd times. You can take off the air filter cover and manually choke the unit and see if it will start up again. I would take it in to your nearest TORO dealer. On the website it has a dealer locator to find the closest one to your zip code.
Wirer up a lawn mower coil
A coil is simple gap it from the flywheel about the thickness of a business card--attach the ground wire and plug the spark plug in.
Tada!
If yours looks more difficult send me a model of your engine and I will give more detail.

How to remove blades from
No, the threads are not reversedand there shuold be a washer under the head of the bolt and that is all you have too worry about.
Hard to start n cold wheather put new battery in
I suspect the choke isn't closing fully. Remove air cleaner down to where you can see the choke butterfly. With the controls in choke position that butterfly should be completely closed. If not you can adjust it. If this is cable operated, adjust it by loosening the screw that holds it on the bracket and slide it until choke closes. This is done usually on carb end. I am also assuming it runs fine after start. Hope this helps.
I have a Toro Z14-38
There is very little likelyhood that you will be able to get the manual that you want.
First TORO has proprietary information on their products.
Second is the fact that you are agreeing to only pay 4 dollars for something like that.
The only other thing that you can do is look in the US patents database to see what you can find.
