I have an AO5 error

This indicates a power fault inside the actual heater. Have you tried unplugging the heater, letting it sit for a good 2 minutes, and replugging it back in? If the problem persists you will unfortunately need a repair. Please let me know if you need more information on this. You can also contact comfort zone, the manufacturer, located in Canada, at 780-420-6572.

Thanks so much for the question,

Tim

Have a comfort zone inferred heater that the display comes on but won't heat up. When I try and turn up temperature I get a AO5 code. What does this mean?

Make sure the unit is clean. Especially, the blower wheel. If that doesn't resolve your error code then follow these instructions. http://screencast.com/t/RoXS239ndAhF Look that over please, you can clean the blower wheel at the red arrow, jumper the two switches at the blue arrows as *brief tests only* just to see if the unit runs and begins to heat with the jumpers in place. If it runs, replace the item that failed open. If it does not run, the control module, Item 5 marked with green is most likely bad and needs to be replaced.
