533 sound driver
The 533 you list is the Front Side Bus (FSB) speed and has nothing to do with the sound driver. The model # P4I45GV returns two possibilities - a REV 3.0 and a REV 5.0. Look at the mainboard. The REV 3.0 has only 2 PCI slots, while the 5.0 has an AGP slot and 3 PCI slots. The audio is a C-Media Chipset. Both versions use the same audio driver. You can access it here:

Reset or Recharge the bois
Hello the homepage is here:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/P4i45GV%20R3.0/?cat=ManualDownload the manual, for detailed setup instuctions. The bios can set to reset by removing the cmos battery on the mainboard and insert it the same way again. But you have to setup the bios settings, clock, date, boot settings. The battery can also be renewed, it sometimes rans out of power. The battery is a cr 2032 3 volts watch type.
Try not to upgrade the bios, unless you 100% sure it`s the right mainboard !!!!!!!! Flashing the bios with a wrong one, will destroy the mainboard.Good luck
P4i45gv dvd connecting point
There are 4 different connections for IDE on this board, so the Optical drive can use any of the 3 left after the hard drive, depending on your configuration. IDE uses a ribbon cable with 1 or 2 devices attached. A typical connection of 2 devices is 1 HD as Master and the second device (CD drive) as a Slave on a single cable. This leaves the second IDE open for expansion down the line. You could also do 1 device per ribbon and leave as Cable select.ftp://europe.asrock.com/manual/P4i45GV%20R5.0.pdf
When i unplug the power cable it lost all bios settings
Hi Rahul,The most common cause for this problem is the CMOS battery on the motherboard which is faulty or dead. The battery is there to keep the time, date and BIOS settings in tact when you unplug the PC. You can buy a new battery at your local PC store and replace the old one. These batteries are not expensive and is worth trying.Best wishes,Graemevm
Computer not giving output to screen
Hi,Looks like a BiOS chip problem. The bios on your board is the lifeline when starting your computer. Pull out the bios chip and clean the contact points.Pull out the mem battery back up and flash the bios memory.Pull out all the hardware board on the PCi socket.Put back the bios chip and flash jumper back after wards.Restart......If BiOS shows up on screen you got a chance to revive the MoBo, if not.....Check the capacitors near the processor and look for any bloated caps. and replace it w/ the same value. If no bloated caps.......... Sorry to say, you have to replace that board and upgrade to a higher type.Hope that helps!
How to find ASROCK PRESCOTT
Hi Arabinda
ASROCK P4I45GV P4/845GV MOTHERBOARD AUDIO / VGA DRIVERS You don't say which Operating System you use, so my answer will be presented in general, Windows terms. If yours is a non-Windows Operating System and my answer seems to be of some relevance to you, please consider applying the logic and principles involved here to your own Operating System and, if in doubt, please feel free to add a Comment or Clarification to this Question. Please include information about the Operating System. Doing so helps us makes faster, more accurate and more assured Remote Diagnostics leading to better quality and more useful Advice, Answers, Guidelines , How-Tos and Solutions. The drivers available for the ASRock P4I45GV P4/845GV Motherboard are available for free download from the official ASRock Downloads and Drivers Support Website here: http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?Model=P4i45GV%20R3.0 Please note that this motherboard appears to support only Win 2000 and Win XP. If your Operating System is not included in this list, then it is highly probable that no Audio or VGA Drivers exist for that Operating System. If you are committed to both this Motherboard and an unsupported Operating System, then consider buying and installing internal Sound and Graphics Cards that are pre-confirmed as being compatible with your Operating System. Both can be relatively inexpensive. The term "Drivers" is meaningless without associating it with an Operating System and a specific item of Hardware. Although drivers seem to mainly be about hardware, they are actually primarily about software. The Driver does not physically control the Motherboard's Devices. The Operating System and (to a lesser extent) the BIOS do that. What the Driver does (just like a human interpreter for a guest who speaks a different language from his host), is to introduce the Device to the Operating System and help them to communicate with each other, with the Driver taking instructions from both and passing it back and forth between them. So when one mentions Drivers, one must also mention the Operating System it will be talking to. In order for that to be possible, the two must share a common language. If they do not, then the role of 'interpreter' is impossible, because, then neither the Driver nor the Device will be able to understand what the Operating System is saying and vice versa. I hope this helps. If this Answer goes some way towards helping to resolve your Query, Problem or Fault, please take the time to Rate it.
