That is not possible, it is a preset code set by the manufacturer. Pretty much all modern bluetooths from blueant/jawbone/plantronics run off of 0000. Older ones mostly are 1234.

To avoid the possibility of hanging up on the person you are speaking to by accidently giving the device a command to end a call by voice, there is no way to end a call this way. To end a call you must simply tap the MFB button one time or wait for the other party to hang up first.

I would delete all existing pairing profiles from your blackberry, once that is done do a hard reset by removing the battery from your phone while it is powered on. When it boots back up, reset the V1 by pressing the vol -/+ and MFB all at the exact same time. Ensure the buttons are NOT held simply clicked all at once like a mouse to a computer. When you get a consistent rapid flash the device has been reset and will go automatically into pair mode. Then re-search in your bluetooth menu, select the V1 when it shows up and enter the pin code 0000 if prompted.

If the drivers are not found when searched through windows finder automatically, then unfortunately there is nothing that can be done. BlueAnt only officially guarantees compatibility on all cellphones which support bluetooth, when it comes down to computers it is hit and miss.

I would test the device on another model of phone to see if the issue carries across, that will allow you to isolate the source of the issue at hand.

The device does not have its own integrated text to speech or caller ID, auto answer may have been removed by apple in a firmware update. I would try a complete reset repair, forgetting the paired device from the iphone. Power cycling the iphone, then resetting the V1 by pressing the vol -/+ and MFB all at the exact same time. Then go back to settings/general/bluetooth on the Iphone and repair the device to see if that fixes the issue.

They are fully compatible, although the Iphone 3G does not support voice dialing so you would only be able to make outbound calls to through speed dial (favorites on Iphone)

You need to put it into discovery mode before you tell your phone to look for it. You probably hold down the main button until it stays solid lit to do that.
