What do i do when my device is saying, "profiling
Plug the unit and ensure that there is 20mbs or more free. If the unit is filled it can not create a library file to play the music. If there is more then enough free room the only thing you can try is to reset the device or format it. Thanks, Midwest-tek
RCA M4304 - WAV to MP3
Even if there is not, you can easily convert WAV files to MP3 using windows media player, itunes or Audacity
Tried to down load music to player and kept
from what you have described and what i have read on the rca technical forum. the problem seems to be a flash memory error or the slide lock is activated on the unit. Is the unit locked? if not
it means the flash memory is no longer working or is intermittently working. There isnt much you can do on the consumer level. And with the price of the unit its not really worth paying to get repaired. I would suggest replacing the unit. From what i can tell rca charges 55$+ shipping to fix this error. If its under warranty they will fix it free of charge, as long as it has not been tampered with. If its not under warranty its up to you to decide is it worth paying 55$+shipping or buying a new unit. No one likes to hear this, But unfortunately that is the case.
I hope this helps you understand your problem. If you require further explanation or assistance i will be glad to provide it. Thanks and have a great day -Midwest-tek
Can not install my r c a m43/mc43mp3
you should only have to plug it into your computer for it to be recognized by the computer. The computer should make a ding noise and then you can access it from my computer. If you haven't already try it on a different computer to isolate if the problem is with the mp3 player or just the computer you are currently trying to connect it to. if you need further assistance please let me know.
Thank you.
I cant figure out how to put music videos on my
mp2 will not recognize music videos, and there's no other way that it will work for that format. Only mp4 and latest version is designed for audio and video format.
mp2, stands for m-peg audio layer II - does recognized only audio format files.
mp4 - recognized audio and visual digital format.
The pictures will not show up on the MP3 Player
Open the picture in Paint under windows accessories, then go to the file menu and click "save as" and save the picture as a jpg. Then pick a folder to save it in and copy that onto your player into the image folder. that should do it.
