Go to ebay.com to find a replacement for you mp3 player. put you infomation in the search window.

You'll need to use iTunes to convert the song to an MP3 file instead of its default AAC format file.

In iTunes, right-mouse click on the song that you purchased using iTunes and select "Create MP3 Version".

You can then place the MP3 version of the music file on your MP3 player.

Did it come with any software? if so follow the guide in there. if not try plugging it into your computer and under computer find it there. after that browse the folders and see if there is a folder for music. if so just select your music and drag n drop

If the player cannot be turned on:

If the reset doesn't work, I would try a firmware update.

Also a copy of the easyRIP software is on the device itself, so you should be able to install without a download.
I assume you are tying to move a video file from a PC on to the M4304?

try asking a local retailer

this model has a hard time charging via usb on a computer especially if its an older computer usb 1.1 or a laptop not plugged in. buy a 5 dollar usb adapter wall charger and it will charge your device right away

You should check:
--> Battery is empty.
--> Ensure the keys lock is not activated.
--> Reset the player by pressing and holding MENU for more than 10 seconds.
--> If the player still cannot be turned on after resetting, perform a firmware upgrade to restore it.

Tried installing my digital media player RCA 4304, I have windows 98

Have you tried different headphones? If you have, try resetting the player by pressing and holding Power/MENU for more than 10 seconds.

Be sure to back-up your media files before resetting the player.

If you cant get it to sync it probably needs the upgraded firmware. If you have windows media player it is so much easier to use then the RCA easy rip software that comes along with the player. Use the usb cable that came with your player or one that is of the same kind but decent quality and plug it into your usb port on your computer. If you explorer my computer it should show it there. If it does open up your windows media player and up at the top one of the tabs should say sync on it. click the sync tab. Your player should be in the tab menu. click your player and it has the options there to sync your player and media player together. From that point you can go to your media library or what have you and start moving your songs, videos etc. over to the sync column. once you have your list made out at the bottom click the sync button and it should work from there. If that does not work for you then you may have accidently deleted or removed the rca easy sync software that is loaded in your player. If thats is the case and the media center wont do it I dont know what else to have you try. good luck.

the ONLYprogram that will work, Ifound it on themanual, is the RCA EASY RIP program, when conecting the player, will show on the list of the files,like:music, ppcitures, etc, click on it will download, and easy to use.

Search the Internet for a program called RCA M4304 Digital Media Player media player,Download it,Install it..then tell me if it doesnt work...:)

go to the menu and turn off the shuffle, its on all the time unless you shut it off

download winamp, it's interface works with rca

YOU could rest it on the counter if you want

The battery may be bad. When you plug it into the computer it gets power from it, not the battery. Get the battery replaced.

Just try leaving your mp3 plugged in the computer
