Get a pen and a piece of paper. If I remember correctly, each button has a bizarre symbol next to it. Draw the buttons on the paper and draw the symbol that appears beside each button. With the TV on, press the first button and note what it does. Press it a second time to see if that progresses to something further or cancels the operation. Repeat this for the other buttons. I seem to remember a vertical green line appearing on Grundig sets which indicated that the tuning was activated. Look for buttons such as > or >> or < or << that suggest scanning for channels. Make sure you can pick up analogue TV signals in your area. It also helps if you have a VCR or DVD recorder which is already tuned and you can tune the TV to that signal.

look in your user manual for the remote your using and find out how to search for the code,most remotes have a feature that allows you to search for the code by pressing a button over and over until the device shuts off.hope this helps

I don't have the same TV but on my tv there are 3 buttons on the left hand side of the TV above where the DVD is inserted. Try to press the top button as this should eject the DVD.

You must have the wrong setting on the set. you will have Ant 1 Video 1 HDMI 1.2.3.check the settings. or RF input behind the set.

Chances are that the plug is somewhat universal. RadioShack sells all different kinds of power plugs, just remember the shape of the plug that goes in the back of the TV and you should be good to go. Also, they are relatively cheap so you won't be breaking the bank on it. If RadioShack for some rare reason doesn't have it, Best Buy should.

If the screen goes completely black but still have sound then the backlight inverter board may be going out.

some tv's have an "alarm clock" check if that is turned on? if it is your tv's will always turn on at the same time.
