My Kindle Fire is losing 97% of charge after 1.5

If it is a FIRE then it may have an app like MAIL running in the back ground. Turn off all apps. It's a tablet, it will only last a few hours. The eReaders last for weeks, the Tablets last for hours. If it's an eReader then on the home page search for jfhjfhj - if it says 4 books not indexed then you have 4 books corrupted, go DOWN and delete those 4 books from the kindle and redownload them.

My kindle is frozen. I cannot reach my home page.

Make sure that the kindle is fully charged. Plug your kindle into the wall charger, a yellow light will light up. When the yellow light turns green, your kindle is fully charged. Then try turning on your device. If the device still does not turn on, hold the power switch for 15 seconds, this will reboot the device.

Kindle is jammed on wi

Firstly, make sure that your kindle is fully charged. Then hold the power switch for 7 seconds. After the light blinks three times, release it. If this does not unfreeze your kindle, hold the power switch for 15 seconds. This should restart your kindle. If neither of these solutions work try contacting amazon kindle support, as they can remotely connec tto your kindle and see what is wrong.

I want to buy a new kindle but am concerned about transfering my books to the new kindle.

Two methods. First: A computer is required. Connect the old Kindle to the computer it should show up as a new drive. Open that drive and find the books. Transfer them to the computer. Plug in new Kindle and do the same only transfer the transferred books from the computer onto the new Kindle. Two: If you purchased the books from sources like Amazon, your books are saved on their cloud. Simply connect your new device and download all your books again.

I cannot register my kindle

Usually the Kindle comes pre-registered to the name used for purchasing it.

However, to register to a different name, open http://www.kindle.com on a PC. Log in using your existing Amazon account or create a new one, following the directions on the web page.

If your Kindle was not registered yet, you can add your device by clicking on "Register a new Kindle" and enter your serial number.

If the device is registered already, it should show up in the list displayed.
